They tried ressurecting it, no one cared, so Vince just killed it again. ECW gave the people what they wanted, WCW gave people over the hill wrestlers, with guaranteed contracts, so when a rash of contagious concussions went around, the big stars were nowhere to be found, and the company went to fuck. They had their hot period, but after that, they were just killing time till the end. ECW was hot all the way through, I do hate how they make it sound like Vince never hurt ECW though, signing away some of the guys he did definitely hurt the company, negotiating with the cable network they were on hurt, having their world champion lose on TV was an unneccessary slap. But yeah, I'll wholeheartedly agree that if you compare Vince to Bischoff, Vince was much more supportive, and at least made an attemtp to say "look, I know I'm hurting you, so let me see if there's a way I can try and help you in exchange" Vince deserves a lot of credit for that, but he was not an angel to the company.
