I wouldn't be having any trouble with him, except for when he gets to the pond in the center of the arena and heals 12000 health. And it get's fairly dicey when he does this around 5 times. But, did any of you guys have any sort of strategy to keep him away for the water?
I mean, freerunning with Yuri when he has the Boss' attention only goes so far.

oh shit sorry i overlooked this...
this is the time raven shines, prepare to deal some damage, the gigalarva is best approached with overlimit spamming from yuri and long range attacks from raven, makes sure rita is abusing magic..better yet control her and abuse it.....well for yuri at this point wolf strike is good for keeping that bitch in control, overlimit, abuse fang strike. (shining fang if you have it) and wolf strike it..always knock bosses down in vesperia, if you do you can ditch out some damage when its on the ground with some artes, not all...use your overlimits to push it down...and aim for lvl 1's at this point in the game i think you get 2 overlimits? just have 2 characters overlimit...and weakness exploit, rita spamming is awesome for combo's especially splash...god i love rita..

hey knux, hit collete with the lolistick...i gotta see how your gonna do that.
rita=win! she makes overlimit spamming so worth it.

Well, this place has been incredibly helpful, thanks.
Note the small amount of dry sarcasm in there.
I finally beat Prince of Persia last night/this morning, so I can get back to Vesperia.
And hilarious slaughter, take two.

Alright thanks. Although, I don't have shining fang, and I only have one overlimit. But yeah, I'll give the knockdowns and arte spamming a try. I'll let you know how it went when I come back.

Now it just seems like the game was spiting me. I didn't even have to use any Life Bottles on my second try. But, after that I rolled through, met Judith, beat Barbos, and got all the way to the fight with Jaeger and 3 of his goons. I forgot to stock up on life bottles beforehand, and bad things ensued.

I refuse to spell his name with a Y. It would be a disservice to German.

lol...man i dont care what you do in that fight go to yeager he will and i mean, kill everyone, his hp is low but dont leave him alone, and i must saw as human bosses go yeager would be one of the hardest, simply because of the way he fights, just be on your guard and hope your party can do minions well...

on another note im on my clear game in vesperia and so far things looking ok, combo on hard mode is tough, im lvl 15 and im already about to fight barbos, if i did more encounters i'd be lvl 16-17...this is so fun, now if only i can get my hands on some mystic artes....damn it thats a long way...

Really? And here I thought I got owned because I only had 3 Life Bottles. That and I went after his goons first. Alright, I'll try going after him first, but I'm not sure how it'll work. Every other fight with the boss having lackeys it made the fight easier to deal with the boss last.

Because you have one post and you signed up a few days ago.

But you're very welcome to prove me wrong and not to take this personally.

Well, apparently Jaeger in Vesperia is the exception to the rule that in any boss fight, take out the help first. And apparently Jaeger is quite the trash-talker.

But the part about "whack the lackey whack the packy" has me lost.

i add filler to my rants...its all random, if it confuses you then i have done 1/4 of what i was trying to do...in other words yeager multi-task people and i mean multi task, its not hit em all at once its like, ok i shot you, oh your behind me...ok your dead. *jumps and shoots spellcaster* yeah just like that...

LOL! i was fishing for filler you can ignore that one.

yes he is...and he's such a nuisance too bad he's not on my side...shit infact im about to fight him..on hard...its gonna be such a massacre.

no raven...and even then yeager would just shoot you....that battle was intense and a waste of life bottles, i was severely underleveled so as i stated before its a massacre.

So what's the club's general thoughts on multiple choice/ending games?

Oh, did I mention that Riviera has ton of decisions you have to make? The smallest things can change things in the game later.

Thankfully that's only with items, let's say for instance: You and your Company find enemies fighting with each other because one of them is scared of the enemy, you. If you help him he will give you a hammer which you later trade for a battle item. Watching them squabble induces that nothing happens, well, they beat the shit out of each other, but that's that.

And that's one of the smaller occurrences, most of them time the options have three different outcomes.

Same here. I heard Chrono Trigger has a ton of them. I hope so, seeing as how I'm plowing through it just to bide time before I have to get back to Luminous Arc 2.

Two boss fights, same boss, except no break in between, he has 800 more HP in the second fight, and he has more very high level monsters at his command. Fun.

Beat Luminous Arc 2 just now, and I'll have review on my page sometime. Don't really know when though. I'll be pretty busy with Vesperia, Disgaea, and Chrono Trigger in the meanwhile.

I hate the type of fighting in Chrono Trigger, so it's not going well.

chrono trigger battles are awesome, love that game, disgaea is pretty rough item world wise...no color change geo panels are my worst enemies, vesperia is just....no comment.

As popular as the game is, you'd never think that Chrono Trigger is an acquired taste.

Well, it is, except more refined. And harder, longer in terms of chapters, but with less intermissions, which I thought was a shame. Also, there are less DD witches.

Hey guys, did you know that through the same logic as Fallout 3, Sonic Unleashed (360, PS3) is an rpg too?
Sounds a bit awesome, but I don't consider Fallout 3 to be an rpg, just because it has rpg elements.
