Now that I think about it, "in-game footage" is a little wrong, it's a scene.

Not sure why, it just captured me.

True, but I recall hearing (from you) that it only works on no less than 3 enemies at once.
Advantage Irving.

yeah its a shame though....

but i noticed one little really hard to exploit weakness with lloyd...
May have to resort to spamming Azure Edge and Ghost Wolf.

ghost wolf would fuck lloyd up, azure edge will get eaten by double demon fang.

he has short reach...too bad emil and luke cant exploit it, but yuri has assured methods,
Lloyd's sheer speed makes up for that, and Yuri isn't exactly Stretch Armstrong either, and Lloyd also has assured methods.

true but dont forget, moves like lonewolf charge can be chained hassle free even on block, man if he used lone wolf swarm lloyd is so fucked.

another thing is yuri can force people up with certain moves, but lloyd is so fast its, its...badass.
Advantage Lowell.
BUT!
LE GASP!!!
Lloyd is a combo master, don't forget that.

yuri can do 1xx hit with one arte...that put lloyds arsenal to shame just dont get caught in a corner with yuri...shame with lloyd, omega tempest to rising falcon loop sounds so tasty.

If he can get close enough to Yuri (and I'm positive he can, no problem) then Yuri is in for being on the ass end of an ass grinding.
Even if Yuri guards, Lloyd will break it long before his whole combo is finished.

you know how fast yuri builds a overlimit? lloyds best bet is to get pissed off before he tangles with yuri with the overlimits, sure lloyd can beat it out of him but azure edge and ghost wolf spamming is very likely...run lloyd run.

..Nope, just gas...
Touching though.

I neglected to mention that the fight must go under the assumption of ONE skill system.
Whether it be Abyss' AD skill system, Vesperia's, or Symphonia(1)'s EX skill system, I don't care.
And all participants must have the same skills. Bad enough Lloyd is getting jumped by 3 people and the Legendia protagonist.

That pic is...interesting. Zelos seems to have a bit of a wandering eye, but what else is new? And I'm not going to get involved in this whole Lloyd v. Yuri case, but if my opinion was wanted, here's my two cents.

Kratos > Lloyd > Richter > Yuri > Sheena > Zelos > the rest. But if I wasn't an ass, then Lloyd > Yuri.

Wow, Even Richter owns Yuri Grey, you're gonna take that!?

i have fixed the list, like hell Zelos is gonna kick Kratos's ass it takes too much effort for him, and Yuri, if you never played Yuri then you wouldnt see how Lloyd can get his ass kicked, especially with a move like lone wolf swarm. Lloyd has rising phoenix, and thats ass in itself if used correctly against Yuri.

Richter gets his ass kicked by 2 kids and their pet monsters, at least Kratos takes on 8 people and gets owned by a bunch of badasses, Zelos dies by those odds, and well...sheena is fucking meat of course she's prefered...and Yuri i dont wanna get started.

Yggdra Union is finding its way to the PSP and an exclusive special edition of Riviera: The Promised Land is coming out.

The special version features the japanese voices and extra caps aswell as the chance to have a certain extra character at the end of the game.

Yggdra Union was an OK game... Emphasis on the OK... The card system worked well as well as the union system... But items were pointless and some of the characters were pointless... Also, I had my Milanor so overpowered that I could defeated the main villian... I think (Dragonknight with Genocide) on the mission where you had to run away from him. All in all though, a well rounded game.

Alright, I need help. I'm in the Forest of Kiev Moc in Vesperia, having trouble dealing with the Gigalarva (or whatever it's called). I wouldn't be having any trouble with him, except for when he gets to the pond in the center of the arena and heals 12000 health. And it get's fairly dicey when he does this around 5 times. But, did any of you guys have any sort of strategy to keep him away for the water?

I mean, freerunning with Yuri when he has the Boss' attention only goes so far.

A card based game..? Nothing for me.

But items were pointless and some of the characters were pointless... All in all though, a well rounded game.

Well, I'll go read up a little more, might be interesting.

From my limited experience with Baten Kaitos I would have to say... completely different.

Or is it a bit different?

Seriously, what's up with that?

The beginning of a fight seems to start tactical, placing characters. Or whatever that's supposed to be...
Then the battle starts and with that, so does my confusion for the game.

Maybe it just looks more complicated than it does...

...right?

Tsk, tsk.
If I hadn't heard that from you, I would have written it off as bullshit.
Srpgs were never my thing, and save for Disgaea 2, none of them stuck with me for too long.
I'm really traditional with rpgs.
Get a guy, give him a sword and a band of random misfits to accompany him, a love interest, a "batman" (mysterious wise guy), a bearable battle system, and a good (at the least) story and you got my attention.
It's a shame because alot of Americans are getting bored of jrpgs.
I'm starting to think that they are conspiring a "funded" anti-jap bias. You'd be surprised how much weight the media pulls on game production. Yeah, we all know that it pulls alot, but you have no idea how much they do.

If you do, the kudos...

I'm gonna make some Ratatosk/Emil fanart.
I got this badass image in my head.
I may also do a Marta/Collete loli-esque picture as well.
