I got Fallout 3 3 days ago, and, l must say, it looks amazing!
The only complaint is..well..THE MAP IS SO FUCKING SMALL!

Lot of the game I didn't like, but I'm hoping the new one will be a pretty big improvement.
Ah yes, Star Ocean 3 was indeed a dull and boring game.
Cool battle system, but it didn't make up for the LONG AND BORING CUT SCENES.
I gave up on the game, and sometime later my brother managed to break the first disc in such a way that it is unable to load any battles, so I'll never see any more of it.
Star Ocean: The Second Story was a far superior game.
I don't know exactly why I like Star Ocean: The Second Story so much, but it's one of my favourite games ever.

like the shitty A.I? or the half assed go fail of a plot? or maybe that they force the worse character in any rpg/ (outside edward in final fantasy 2 cant top that sack of shit.)
Ah yes, Star Ocean 3 was indeed a dull and boring game.
it was good once you stop paying attention the story and do inventing.
Cool battle system, but it didn't make up for the LONG AND BORING CUT SCENES.
magic fail, A.I was so damn dumb that your better off putting them on manual and play all 3 charcters at once.

Well... I'm last on the ToS2 train, but I finally finished it. The ending of the game was so sad, I watched the entire ending, which was about a good 45min - 1hour. But thankfully, It was a happy ending. It was great to see it. I'm gonna replay the game to watch the other 2 endings later.

Good thing you ask instead of reading the first damn post in this huge thread. Not that the first post is important, no no, not at all, it's just telling you what this club is about, that's all.
But yes, we are all huge fans of Rocket-propelled grenades. God bless Soviet Russia for this ingenious invention of incredible infestation.
In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and has been widely regarded as a bad move.

SPOILERS FOLLOW, YOU HAVE BEEN ADVISED
Woah wait what? The ending was 45 min to an hour? Like, the ending scene after you attack Lloyd and Marta? Both endings I saw were only, like 10 minutes at first. I'm probably not understanding something, so please elaborate. If you wish to avoid divulging spoilers in the thread, please PM me.

Lol, apparently that guy was joking, l don't think that he didn't read the first post, everybody does...right?
How are you all doing?
At last I've found a hidden character in SO:FD, out of a possible 7(!).
The trick is that you can only have a certain character in your party if another leaves/didn't join. Doesn't count for all though.
Having maxed out the "Oracle" Specialty (You get to see messages from the game designers) I found out that they've made a remake of the second SO, might see if I can get it, seeing that many here have played it and liked it.
It would seem that I will need to get all characters to see the three cutscenes that I'm missing.
It's not like I have a life to lead, bwaha, ha.

Looks neat.
Another game I've been trying to find is Jeanne D'arc. Looks good right?

I guess that's to be expected, they're only 30 years apart.
Leveling is easy in Star Ocean: First Departure if you have the Contraband and Replication specialty.
Finding all characters is still hard.

So I got The World Ends With You.
The main character makes a nice change from the main characters of most RPGs who are all too willing to postpone their quests to save the universe for a week in order to make friends with someone's dog. He's a horrible, asocial cunt who's willing to kill a young girl in order to save his own life. That's awesome.
Unfortunately, he seems to be joined by a bunch of stock RPG characters, including one who's living so far in a happy joy fantasy world that she blames her own attempted murder on herself.

Yeah, he starts off pretty good. One of the main reasons I loved that game.

Yeah, well, Shiki (I'm pretty sure that's who you're referring to) gets fairly interesting down the road.
Anyways, news time, children. I got Disgaea DS and Tales of Vesperia for Christmas. I'd write reviews were it not for that they've been out for ages. And for all parties concerned, I'll have a review of Castlevania: Judgement on my page shortly.
And both DDS and ToV are pretty good.

Not really, I was just saying it's been out for ages, and pretty much anyone who wanted to get it got it, so my critiqing would fall on deaf ears.

Yeah, I need to play it more. I'm concentrating on Gears of War 2 right now (another Christmas present), so once I beat that I can get back to Vesperia. And God knows when I'll ever get to Prince of Persia.

I suppose you're right, but I'm not ready to write a review just yet. The Castlevania Judgment review took a straight hour to do.

I need to play those still. They're fairly cheap now, so I'll just buy all three in one shot for the Gamecube.

Bought Chrono Trigger and Luminous Arc 2 today for the DS. Both RPGs, and I'll have a review on Luminous Arc 2 as soon as I'm finished with it.
But I'm swamping myself now. I still have to finish Tales of Vesperia, Prince of Persia, Disgaea DS, and now these two. And I'm planning on getting GTA IV soon as well. Maybe I should slow down.

what are you talking about? everyone knows its all about judith parts not yuri.
i still have respect for mr. irving its just a shame he stepped aside for a pansy like emil.

Don't get mad, but I'd thrash Estelle if I had the chance, she reminds me of Kawaii, but less hot, and much much shorter hair. I think I'll draw her soon enough, a good one too, its a shame that I don't focus my attention on the protagonist, but rather her hot lesbian sister. But I digress.
Rita would get it rough. Unnecessarily rough.
Judith is....too willing, kinda creepy. I can see her getting it on with Repede.
i still have respect for mr. irving its just a shame he stepped aside for a pansy like emil.
Lloyd has the power and agility to own Yuri, Luke, Emil, and the protagonist of Legendia all at once.
You're brother couldn't have said it better, Lloyd was so broken, they stopped making characters like him.
I admit, Yuri would pose the biggest challenge, thats why he'd probably go down first (if I was controlling him).
Then Emil, then Luke, then the other guy.

estelle is cute, rita needs it rough or its not good enough, and judith...she would do it with everyone and everything if you give her the chance.

she's cuter when she gets it rough.

bullshit look at yuri and his mystic art loop thats so damn rediculous and we both know it...but i noticed one little really hard to exploit weakness with lloyd...he has short reach...too bad emil and luke cant exploit it, but yuri has assured methods, another thing is yuri can force people up with certain moves, but lloyd is so fast its, its...badass.
I admit, Yuri would pose the biggest challenge, thats why he'd probably go down first (if I was controlling him).

yeah i'd wanna kill yuri first but your gonna have to do emil, he's almost as fast as lloyd if not as fast, and lukes FoF's will cause problems if you get caught between them...as for the other guy...whats his name? fuck him he's dead.
damn so many gels and hourglasses will be abused during that fight, and you'd wanna just use the devils arm.
At 12/30/08 06:08 PM, greyshadowskyknight wrote: bullshit look at yuri and his mystic art loop thats so damn rediculous and we both know it...
True, but I recall hearing (from you) that it only works on no less than 3 enemies at once.
Advantage Irving.
but i noticed one little really hard to exploit weakness with lloyd...
May have to resort to spamming Azure Edge and Ghost Wolf.
he has short reach...too bad emil and luke cant exploit it, but yuri has assured methods,
Lloyd's sheer speed makes up for that, and Yuri isn't exactly Stretch Armstrong either, and Lloyd also has assured methods.
another thing is yuri can force people up with certain moves, but lloyd is so fast its, its...badass.
Advantage Lowell.
BUT!
LE GASP!!!
Lloyd is a combo master, don't forget that.
If he can get close enough to Yuri (and I'm positive he can, no problem) then Yuri is in for being on the ass end of an ass grinding.
Even if Yuri guards, Lloyd will break it long before his whole combo is finished.
Lloyd Irving: Anata no ketsu wa kusa da oyobi ore wa shibakariki da!
(Your ass is grass, and I'm the lawnmower!)
Yuri Lowell: Kuso!
(Oh, Shit!!)
