Ditto, and what an album it is.
I've been holding out on continuing my Megadeth collection cause I know they went a bit more mainstream after Rust In Peace, and I don't want to lose respect for them like I did Metallica :(.

I've heard up to Youthanasia, and a few from Cryptic Writings.

I heard some versions of songs from Cryptic Writings on the "Unplugged" album, which is live acoustic, and they're pretty good, but when I heard the proper studio versions, I didn't like them much.
"Almost Honest" is great on acoustic.

Yeah, that's what I usually do, although when I wanted to get a Megadeth album, I went by their best selling album, which was Countdown to Extinction, so I bought that first and on the same day, I bought Peace Sells...But Who's Buying since it was only £4 in HMV at that time. Another time, I went and bought So Far, So Good...So What and Rust in Peace together. :P

DOn't we all.... then I try (I say that, I've only started doing it very recently) to get the albums in chronological order... to see the bands progression :).

Don't lie to me! Nothing in HMV costs less than £15!

You pommie bastards with your pound signs on your keyboards... If you actually have pound signs on you keyboards. Because we don't here on Oz. The sad thing is my dad's pom, and I know jack shit about England. I mean, god, AUD is way different, a CD here will cost you 20-30 bucks if it's new.

How much is 10 dollars? About 7 pounds?
I can get Megadeth albums for about the same price as you (mine are about 4 pounds), which is great value.

I do try and buy albums from bands chronologically either from earliest to latest or I could go the other way around.

OK, don't believe me then. :P

Killing is my Business arrived at my house today and I love the album, although the beeps on These Boots are quite annoying. The other songs on the album are great.

The fact it contains the greatest Megadeth song ever qualifies it for that alone :P.
The additions of Peace Sells and My Last Words only helps.

Heh, I still havn't got myself into Cryptic Writings. Killing is My Business I fucking love right now because of how fast the songs are. :O I'll give it a few more listens to before considering whether this is my favourite Megadeth album or just below a few other albums of theirs.

Hooray I finally got Countdown To Extinction yesterday, the remaster. Much better wuality from what i've already heard of the album, so it's easier to appreciate it more. That brings my Megadeth CD collection up to 4, and the Rattlehead picture on the CD spines is piecing together!

Haha, I just need Risk and my Rattlehead picture is complete. :D I should be going shopping next Saturday, so I'll be getting Risk and I do not care how bad people say it is, I'm going to get it to have all Megadeth albums, complete the remaster collection and give the album a try. :)

Yeah im a bit of an obsessive when it comes to collecting things which are part of a series, like DVDs and stuff. Because I started getting Megadeth remasters I have to get them all now, otherwise my Rattlehead picture wont be complete, and I couldn't live with that.

Although I mainly concentrate on studio albums, I will buy a live album or two from a band I love, although I've not planned to buy any live albums by Megadeth yet. :S

And to their awesome mascot Vic. He's my favourite mascot along with Eddie the Head. Too bad Vic looks really crap on United Abominations. :(

I bought Risk today along with some other CDs. I've listened to Risk and I'm not impressed. The only song I have enjoyed a lot is Prince of Darkness. I'll give the album a few more listens to before I have a proper thought on the album, but right now, I found the album boring.

Im unsure about this. I'm not sure whether it's worth getting just if you're a 'Deth fan. If it's that bad i'll skip it, getother albums, and then go back to Risk if I really want to.

Plus, check out my new sig :D

Don't knock it until you try it. Even though it has received lots of negative reviews, you don't know what the album is like.
