see the link in my sig? the one that says anime club. go there. there should be a button that says forums to the right. go there, and somewhere at the top, it should say sign up. you will get an e-mail to confirm it. go there to the link in the e mail to finish up. then, post your 5 favorite anime and choose a character of the same gender you are from one of those 5 anime to represent you. it has to be a character that has not been taken.
Today I got volume 2 of Melty Lancer and that was the last Volume! For 6 episodes it's a pretty good series.

saounds like a rip off. you can easily fit six episodes on one disc...i hate it when they do that. isn't flcl stretched out onto 3 discs? that would have to be one of the biggest rip offs i've seen(only six episodes as well). know what i mean? like bastard, for example. that was six episodes and they put the whole thing on one dvd. i wish they would do that with all miniseries.

Grrr... I havent been able to get my hand on any One Piece or Samurai Champloo... Could anyone recommend any anime that may seem similar to any of the previously mentioned?

And the person who did the voice of Mimiru from .Hack//SIgn also did the voice of Gally (Alita) from Battle Angel Alita.

Bringing Animations from other countries is one thing, but having to kill a good animation in the process due to making it "Kid Friendly" is pretty much inexcusable.
It happens all the time though. with more than just anime. I've just grown accustom to seeing it I guess. I heard the Yugi Oh mangas were more for a mature audiance yet they have yugi oh on TV like every other day and I davent seen one episode more mature than a toe nail clipping.
maybe so, but like you just said,"child friendly". I'm pretty sure parents dont want there 7 year old daughter watching Nami stab herself and making a big bloody mess. I know I dont want my cousin watching stuff like that.It wasn't very big or bloody in the original anyway. Those people at 4Kids are that weak.
Oh, well in that case you win. I got nothing on that. You, or who ever said it, made it sound to me like see just full on impaled herself in completely grotesque display.

In english. I'm not sure about Japanese though! I'll have to check! No, it's a different voice actor in Japanese.
Does any one know what anime they replaced Gungrave with on G4? I havent taken the time to watch so I dont know. If its any good can some one tell me so I make a point to watch.
Sorry for the double post, but can some one make me a wall paper for my desktop? It has to be able to fit on a floppy disk so I can transport it from the Library to my house. I would like one from Outlaw Star actually. Got to go, thanks in advance if some one takes me up on the offer

speaking of voice acting, you know who seems to be in an awful lot of anime? Steven J. Blum. he's done the voices of characters like goku (goku midnight eye) spike spiegel (cowboy bebop) and he does the voice of tom from toonami. he was even in dot hack. he's also done voices for videogame characters such as ramirez from shellshock 'nam '67. i mean, he does deserve the work he gets. he has a good voice for animation and what not, but what's really wierd about this guy is that he has a couple different names that he's credited as. Steven Jay, David Lucas, Roger Canfield, Richard Cardona, Andrew Watton, and Daniel Andrews. these are all the same person! i don't understand why he has all these different names.

Maybe they forgot his name and made something up!

also Wendee Lee Curtis. she did the voice of faye valentine from cowboy bebop. her other names are Wendy Lee, Wendee Day, Wendee Swan, and Elyse Floyd. does this make sense to you?

I think the guy who writes the credits heard the names wrong.
