5. NANA. I have watched the anime, the 1st movie (I heard that the 2nd was a load of crock), and am starting to read the manga. I originally did not feel like pursuing this series, but then a friend lent me a copy of the first few manga books, and I enjoyed it, but felt that reading a manga that focuses somewhat on music was silly, so I stopped reading it. I watched the anime instead, and I was hooked from there. I enjoyed it due to the unique art direction, the music, and the ever-changing situations thrust at both Nanas, as they overcome obstacles together.

I FUCKING LOVE YOU! Nana happens to be my most favourite Manga ever (currently own 6 books; waiting for the seventh.) I actually got into Nana through the PVs of the first two Nana movies. Afterwards, I began reading the manga, then I saw the first movie, and I should find, and watch the second. You should start reading the rest of the manga, it only gets better, and better. Welcome to the club.

I try not to rank movies against series'.

They're two different media.

In your average series, you may have 10 hours of show (with that number possibly being a lot higher), whereas in your average animated movie, there's about an hour and a half.

It's like trying to rank somebodies marathon time, against somebody elses hundred metre dash.

Either way, unlike the majority of applicants (lately, anyway), you've actually done it right, so I guess that means you're in.

Zyaphloic saga, its a anime from the 80's so far i'm the only person THAT I KNOW OF who watches that anime other than me in both real life and on newgrounds. T-T

Rurouni kenshin, fma, mechanoly of haruhi szymui and hitman reborn are also up there. ^^

Oh I don't know if anyone here remebers but I was a member in this for a long time I just stopped posting about 40 pages ago. ^^ I remeber because we were discussing bleach episode 114 after it just came out in here and now there on episode 142 so yeah.......

My anime list lists me as having watched 65 anime's (which includes films).

But that list is entirely incomplete because
A. I couldn't remember all of the anime I'd seen, and
B. I stopped updating it almost immediately after setting it up.

So I'm going to put a guess in at... 90-100.

Perhaps I should start updating it again.

it just shows parts of the series in ova and it does'nt look right

Also, on the topic of numbers of animes I've seen, I honestly cannot remember....I keep a list (which has around 120 or so entries) but I know it is vastly incomplete.

I've never been one to complete a manga series from beginning to end, either because someone spoils it for me, or I just lose interest. However, out of the mangas that I have finished/am hooked on, my favorite would most likely be Paradise Kiss. I enjoy Ai Yazawa's unique art direction, as well as the trendy environments/characters she produces. Also, the fact that it was a rather short series didn't hurt, either.

I find it interesting.
It's funny though, I hardly ever spend time fapping to any of what I have.
I usually just use them to help whoever is trying to find something of that artist.
