Yeah, there were some events after them fighting. I don't get to watch the anime, only read the manga. So I was told it's pretty far behind. I don't know where at the anime is, because I dont' really bother with the animes news.

Well, in the manga they just got done drawing out, or say they've finished drawing out Gaaras jinchuuriki, and Sakura and the old woman just got done beating Danna, breaking or say Sakura shattered the puppet he was controling from the inside.

I've been curious about something, and seeing as this forum is full of anime buffs I feel this is the appropriate place to ask. Recently a friend of mine has been pestering me to watch:

Could you give me some backround on these shows and tell me if they are any good? The only anime I've watched is Big O (my 3rd favorite show), DBZ, and Rurouni Kenshin(My second favorite).

"Dattebayo" doesn't really mean anything. It's more like Naruto's favourite expression; it seems many japanese tend to have a "personal line", like Konohamaru's "kore" (which means "this", but it always says it at the end of his lines), as far as I know.

Some guy who wants to watch Ghost In The Shell and Elfen Lied

I haven't watched Ghost In The Shell but I want to, everyone I know who has watched it has strongly recommended the series to me.

As for Elfen Lied, I've watched the entire show. Beautiful, it's a bit gory, but if you don't mind explicit violence and lots of blood you'll love it. Even with the killing, Lucy's so kawaii ^_^ I simply loved it.

Has anyone watched "Mew Mew Power" (Tokyo Mew Mew) on Fox lately? Although i can tell 4Kids hacked another anime I find it immencely cute. I'm going to keep watching.

Well i finally saw One Piece for the first time. Ya know the one hour block before Adult Swim. Samurai Champloo is probably good, but the episode was about some theif guy, with only a drop of fighting, so it is hard to tell yet. Also, Reno 911 was on, so i skipped between the two. Oh, i was in a book store the other day at a mall, and was looking in the Manga section for Akira (didnt have it) and i found an "Encyclopedia of Anime since 1917". It was pretty thick, but they didn't have Naruto in it. They had tons of "N" animes I've never heard of, but no Naruto. Maybe the book was just published before it came out...
