I doubt it. Mainstream these days wouldn't like to sit back and watch that good old Outlaw Star or any Kikaider. Nor any old school Gundam like 0079. Shame there are some many faggots running things these days.

FUCK YEAH LOKI FUCK YEAH MYTHOLOGY!

I also am trying to watch the unbearable Final Fantasy Unlimited. However, I couldn't find the first episode no matter what I do. GO ME.

I'll see if I can find any copies for you and let you know via PM.

Pardon me for going on a tangent, but there's one aspect of Pilot Candidate, or "Candidate for Goddess", that I just couldn't accept - the mecha control system. Who in their right mind would create a device in which the pilot suffers the exact same damage as his/her mech? Don't those dumbass engineers realize that people can't be fixed as easily as machines?!

It's possible, I guess, since Azumanga Daioh was popular.

But then again, it has a hell of a lot of references to Japanese culture, which loses some likelyhood of it being dubbed, since it wouldn't make the transition easily.

Besides, Lucky Star is another one of the anime's which are far too Japanese to be dubbed.

It already has a dub out, and iirc it actually won an award for best dub of the year....look it up on Wikipedia. I'm in the process of watching it now (dubbed) and I think it fits pretty well. I think it's only been three times I've been confused by the Japanese'ness of the show...twice being the spelling of a certain word, and once being the New Years dreams.

I´m a big fan of the norse Mythology and the whole ragnarok story, so when i saw you say this i immediatly searched for the anime. I watched the first episode, but it was not what i was expecting. The characters are nothing like their myth counterparts. It might be good if you get into it, but i don´t have time to watch alot.

Lucky Star does not have an English dub.

NEW MANGA BUYSHIT:

Fushigi Yugi: Genbu Kaiden Volume 1. The prequel to the smash hit Fushigi Yugi-The Mysterious Play. This tells the story 100 years before Miaka, and Yui. Takiko Okuda, opens the universe of the 4 gods, and becomes the "Genbu no Miko" or the priestess of Genbu. The Black Tortoise-Snake god on the North. If you followed the original story, you'd understand were this is going.

I Also got, Ouran High School Host Club Volume 1. Simply overjoyed when i saw this manga on the shelfs of my Local Chapters. So I hurried up, and bought it. If you haven't seen the Host Club already, what have you been spending your time on?

As far as I can tell it's some sort of comical shojo reverse-harem satire show where comedy-related situations result from romance-related plotlines about a girl disguised as a boy and the motley charming members of the crew she's a part of.

Rewatching yu yu hakusho right now, and one thing I really hate is when characters lose their fucking powers. This type of thing mostly happens in shounen anime, but it really fucking pisses me off when it happens. Bleach it was Ishida (or whatever his name was) naruto it was Rock Lee, I just hate seeing characters lose their powers and be helpless.

Ha yeah thats true, i think they did that for G Gundam as well if im correct, guess they wanted to take the whole one body, one mind thing to a new level.

Well, aside from the pain of each landed blow (and the excruciation of putting on the suit), I think the Mobile Trace system doesn't inflict physical injury or cause fatal wounds. The only way a Gundam Fighter gets hurt is if his cockpit is attacked.

Which reminds me, i really need to get the DVD's of Azumanga, i watched it in it's sub form(like everyone else since i hardly hear anyone mention the dub) I'm interested to hear what Kimura sounds like.

Personally, I like it....I think it matches him well....though I haven't heard the Japanese version. Also, Osaka is so different on sub/dub.....sub she sounds like a stupider version of Orihime from Bleach (Yes, I know it's the same voice actor) and on the dub she sounds like a Texan. I think I like the Texan one more, but that's just me.

Texan eh? im not to sure about that, i mean it takes place in....well...Japan. A Southern accent would seem rather out of place. But i should hold my judgement until i actually the dub.

Well, apparently Osakans have a unique accent away from the normal Japanese one....kind of like a Texan in a group of normal talking people....though it's a rather light accent (here in Florida, we're chock full of rednecks.) to me, and it took me a second to recognize what kind of accent it was. I think it fit perfectly, especially since they did a few "lol you talk different than us" jokes on her.

Stephanie Sheh is notorious for being a bad voice actress, and playing the lolita character type role. Which is irony, since she is rather fat.
