PROBABLY because if people knew why, they'd choose characters that can kick anyone's ass so thet their characters would win.

For anime-related presents, my ex gave me an Inuyasha wall scroll...I also got myself an Inuyasha poster and a little stuffed Inu. (haha, I DO like other anime, it just happens that everyone knows I like Inuyasha.)

Well it's not really that creative...
I've saw it done somewhere else before so please don't credit me for the idea. However when I saw it done, it was at a certin type of fan site. Most views would be in one area. Here we have alot of different people who like alot of different things. I think it'll be fun. It'll be even more fun if more people come to vote on the battles once Wonko and I get them set up. I really didn't like exactally how it was done before so that's why I had the idea to do it. We'lll just have to see how it works out. Only like 11 of each had more than 1 vote so I'm gonna have to just pick the rest. If Wonko would pick some that would probably help, however it seems he doesn't seem to wish to take part in the voting aspect of it. However he has said he'd help me which is good cuz I couldn't do it without him. I'm just babbling cuz I'm tired. Ive been in bed sick all day and would still be there if I didn't call my best friend back when I got up to get something to drink. I got some... rather disturbing news... Enough of that. I guess we'll get the tournament ready tomorrow due to my being sick today. Talk to you guys soon.

On the one hand, Kenshin has beyond godlike speed at times....but Kurama's a demon.......and a powerful one at that....
I'd say Kenshin, only because most of Kurama's attacks, if they hit, would likely kill Kenshin, which Kurama wouldn't do. And Kenshin's attacks don't kill (usually), they just beat the living hell out of whoever he's attacking.
But, who I want to win?
I'd honestly be rooting for Kurama.

I would prefer to have them good rather than mediocre, and they WERE too high-pitched....Unless you guys have already added them in, I don't exactly see how it's a 'waste of everyone's time' to try to do them well and make it better.

Well it's a waste of my freaking time, and thats worse. I'll have to review all the damn lines again, then delete your old ones, replace them with the new ones, and send them onto Shadow. I could be doing more important things with that time. Like staring at the static on TV.

Very well then, if the match ups are random and unchangeable, I vote for Kurama. Kenshin has godlike speed and skill, but Kurama is a genius tactician, has multiple special attacks, his Yoko-Kurama form, and his Rose Whip. The Rose Whip could probably slice through Kenshin's Sakabatou, and even if it can't, it's got a much farther range. As for Kurama going easy on Kenshin and losing, all Kurama has to do is be forced to use his Yoko form, and he will cease to care about killing Kenshin.

So in short, My Vote = Kurama

Not really. The guy that Kurama fought at the end of the Dark Tourniment is just as fast AND had special moves, and Kurama still beat him.

I think that should be a factor, but you should really base the victory on the difference in stats and abilities. Take this fight for instance. Kurama could easily disarm Kenshin by wrapping his Rose Whip around Kenshin's Sakabatou and ripping it out of his hands. Without his sword, Kenshin is screwed. On the other hand, Kurama has many powers and weapons besides his Whip, some of which are ranged attacks. He also has his Yoko-Kurama form. So if you base the fight on their strengths, weaknesses, and powers, Kurama could pwn Kenshin.

I vote for Kenshin. His ability in swordplay and his strong fighting spirit(in one episode where people think he's dead but he's still alive after that) makes me vote for him.

Wonko, I agree with your battle summary idea. If you can summon the effort to make them interesting.

Well I watched all the animes i got for christmas. FLCL was ok, it had some good parts, plus i had the subtitle commentary on, which gave a lot of info into the deeper plot and why the author did some of the things in the show. Excel Saga was nice, although at sometimes it got annoying, and Excel's constant yelling got on my nerves, especially with dubs. But it was cool, and the ending was pretty nice. Chobits was cool, how many episodes are there anyways? And finally i saw Betterman, which was just as good as i remember, plus i finally saw the end. The discs have bonus features, and one of them is the Mode Warp files, which give detail into the plot, and also the last one summarizes everything, plus it gives a timeline of the series, although some things dont add up, about Betterman being created in 1999, but they might mean it in another way, and also they have some things that happen after the series end, even though they never showed it. In the end only 3 of the main good guys died...well 4 if you count ones unborn child, and 1 went into a coma, but you win some, ya loose some, no change without sacrifice, etc......

Oh, and I think Kurama would win, especially if he went to his old demon form.

I still say bassing the wins difficulty on the # of votes is a bad idea. You'll just have these wankers saying, "I vote teh kenshun cause he kewl." Kurama getting pwned because there are a thousand Kenshin fan-boys is kinda dumb. You should use the vote difference as a bassis for the outcome, but not as a major factor.
