I don't think your suppose to understand the series at all. Nothing is related to anything, there's no chain of events, all you have are characters and barely a setting. Im pretty sure it's suppose to be symbolic or something. You can follow individual episodes, that's the least I can say.

There is no symbolism that I can see of anything in that. But your explanation sounds a lot better than mine and makes more sense.

First season can go fuck itself, second season went all "hey we have characters that aren't just tits and ass, lets make a story" and it worked. Linear as fuck but it wasn't bad.

Toonami pulled Eureka 7 and symbionic titan last Saturday it seems. I was finally able to stay up long enough to watch Full metal alche- and im lost.

I finally got finished with LotGH and it's easily the best anime i've watched from beginning to end. It would be difficult to hold every other show I watch to its standard but it's probably the only anime whose generally sluggish pacing I can excuse.

I got the full FMA manga for christmas, I'm on volume 6 or so. Pretty good so far. I don't think I'll bother watching the series but I'll give the films and OVAs a go when I'm done.
