A Google+ hangout or some simulcasting tool would be easier imho.

Tomorrow's the big day.
So we got this all planned and ready or what?

I dunno. If we're doing the hangout whos doing it and what are we watching? We need to decide NAU.
I vote the Gurren lagaan movie.

Dis idea. I like it.
Gurren Lagaan sounds nice. If y'all are up to watching that's not anime but still Japanese, I recommend the Seven Samurai movie.

I'd be game with just the last 9 episodes of the series

Not yet. I intend to celebrate all week long so we can put something together while I work on my masters thesis.

I'd prefer that, honestly. or maybe Ran or Yojimbo.

I liked Samurai 7. It was a friggin great show, so well put together and expertly planned. Shit got done in that show and I liked that. No 10 episode fight scene bullshit.

He's talking about the Kurosawa film. It's really good.

How would it? Skype is pretty much my go to instamessaging service and it's so fucking easy to us. Also, I really, really don't do the whole social network site stuff. the only thing is twitter. We could try the Google+ thing but I vote Skype. Just find a perfectly legal site* and we can chum it up, do a synced countdown and watch with joy.
There are sites that let you stream videos and chat at the same time. I think Livestream would be alright.

I'd say we just hold a Kurosawa marathon and tack on Rashomon as well, but I don't even have the time for that. Seven Samurai gets my vote because it's my favorite.
I can't host shit, though, because I'm on my tablet atm.

You mean the original 1940's ish one the anime was based off of?

50's, but yeah.

Frickin hivemind. I was about to post the exact thing, but you did it already.

Yeah, I'm still not organising anything and expecting someone else to get shit done too.
Well it was a wonderful 10 year anniversary. In retrospect we should have planned something long before hand rather than earlier Yesterday. I would have hosted something but I dont know how to check 'Newgrounds time' and I dont have a Skype account. I also have no fucking clue how to stream anything.
Trust me, if I knew anything, I would have done it.
Well I might have missed the party, although I didn't think that there was much of one, but congrats of 10 years on the forum anyway. To celebrate, {or simply on a whim} I decided to marathon a show that I thought I wouldn't bother seeing again, Neon Genesis Evangelion. I'm starting to grow appreciation for NGE and the franchise in general in which I didn't before, though I'm certainly not going to put it ahead of Gurren Lagann anytime soon.
And I'm also marathoning through GaoGaiGar as well, in harmony of a mood whiplash if you will.
Just stop worrying, and love the bomb.
I would've streamed something if my laptop were working. Oh well, I began reading Eiji Yoshikawa's Musashi earlier which fucking rocks and all.
Finished Out by Kirino Natsuo a while ago but don't recall mentioning it before. It's about four housewifes cutting up dead bodies for profit and getting out of debt; shit goes downhill from there. Go read it nowww please.

Honestly I wouldn't have been that eager to make a big deal of it myself and it seems no one else cared that much either.
I just decided to watch some Kaiji since it's on my backlog and the day put me in an anime kind of mood.
I celebrated by watching the Psycho-Pass finale.
Next up: This week's Sasami-san@Ganbaranai

Meh, I'm glad this club's lasted so long but I'm alright if we don't throw a huge party/circlejerk. Kaiji is awesome so I hope you enjoy it, man.

I by working a 12 hour shift and then watching the 80's The Thing with brothers.
Well, no so much the 10 year but more so the beer and chill time.
[ King of Hearts: Domon Kasshu - Anime Club ] :: [ Final Fantasy Club ]
XBL / PSN - Voidist
Malice is my Sword, Rage my Armour & Anger my Shield.
Shinsekai Yori finale aired this week
I am thoroughly mindfucked by all the last minute reveals that make perfect sense in retrospect
Next week, the fun begins with Spring 2013
My bread and butter shows will be Shingeki no Kyojin (Attack on Titan), Valvrave, and Gargantia
Yuyushiki and Hentai Ouji are still try-outs
Hopefully I don't end up dropping nearly everything like the last few seasons
Been watching too much anime lately. 10 year anniversary inspired me to finally try Cowbop, which is great and put me in an anime mood. Started watching Code Geass which is interesting, Oreimouto which isn't the type of thing I'd normally watch but I'll stick with it, K-On! which is good but it it's dubbed and a bit overly high-pitched.
Also watched Dragon-Half, an OVA from 1993 which I got a while ago in an anime DVD lot. It was pretty funny, definitely better than most wacky early 90s anime but it's not something you'd go out of your way to see.

I hope they blow all of the budget on the first episode because it looks like it'll be great. It's funny because the manga's art is really questionable but the anime looks like it could be really slick and high quality.
