And philosophy if you swing that way.

I've tried watching Ergo Proxy and I just can't get into it. I don't know why, it just seems really dull.
I only watched two episodes, though.
But I don't plan on watching any more for at least a while.

New Anime out there called Accel World.
The Anime has only two episodes but has an amazing story line so far.
but WHY! must the main character again be a loser surrounded by hotties?

Diggin it though

Took me a few hours and a lot of anime reviewer's interpretations to wrap my head around it.

Yeah, same here.

What I absolutely did love was how they described the classical literature allusions at the end of each episode. Like, what famous paintings they'd been mimicking and what they represented, etc etc. More shows should do that.

Better question, why is his body shaped like a soccer ball? It's one thing to make him a loser but to make him shorter than everyone and so fat I could dribble him down a basketball court while the most attractive popular girl in school is acting like he's a super hero is a little absurd. Even his virtual presence is just a midget pig-man. Also does anyone know where I can find more information about the other color classes for fighters? I know the show is based on a manga but I can't find any information on the classes that haven't already been mentioned in the show.

Episode 26 of LoGH

This fucking episode, man. ;_;

I watched all of Getter Robo Armageddon, and it's good. Definitely a fun ride all the way through, if nothing else.

I didn't even give this one a shot. It seems so forgettable I don't even want to bother with it.

So yeah, anyone else watched anything from this season? I watched the first 2 eps of space bros which seemed kinda fun, but what really grabbed me were the first few eps of Lupin III, really good fun with a fantastic art direction and it's such ridiculously good fun to boot. Also, the first episode sakamichi no apollon (that one by cowboy bebop director + yoko kanno)) is great fun, everyones all over the homolust but it's actually so far, homolust aside, really good fun. Could be really interesting, I know next to ntohing about jazz and ouwld love to learn more so this one;'s definitely on my list.

I finally watched Summer Wars. I've had it for like a year and never watched it until recently. It was good, but not as great as some people would have had me expect.

I also finally got around to watching all episodes of Hundred Stories. It was great series.

I got started on Ayakashi last night and watched the whole Yotsuya Kaidan arc.

And I resumed watching Golgo 13. It had been a while since I watched an episode.

Let me save you some time. DON'T WATCH DURARARA!! That show is really boring. I just saved you about 11 hours of talking that leads nowhere interesting and 2 hours of fighting with no real conflict resolution.

Why is this place so shitty?

Durarara's great. Some didn't enjoy the second season's pacing, but I didn't really see a problem with it. Especially because of the events taking place.

You should definitely give it three episodes.

I gave it a lot more than three episodes. I didn't like Durarara long before the pacing of the second season was able to become a problem but I gave it plenty of chances to change that.

Some people have been praising it and some have been shitting on it. I dunno. I'll give it a try. I loved Baccano, so I thought I might like this.

Ga Rei Zero is definitely awesome, I would put the first episode among some of the best first episodes ever, although there is a drastic change in the pacing of the show immediately afterwards, as the whole show is actually a flashback building up to the events of the first episode.

A good choice to watch.

So I'm watching Darker than black and it's pretty good, but what the fuck is with those comic relief detectives, especially that pink haired bitch, I hope they die.

It would be cool if they did an OVA or miniseries that takes place during the war.

I think both are decent, but nothing truly special. But for sure, Baccano! is better than Durarara. You could do much worse either way.

Started up Fairy Tail and I'm not sure if it'll be any good. But, then again, I didn't like One Piece too much at first, either. Then I watched more and it's one of my favorites. Just need to give it a benefit of a doubt, perhaps. Also watching City Hunter 2 and Lovely Complex. Good stuff, good times.

I've been meaning to check out Lupin III. So far i've watched a few eps of Nazo no Kanojo X and Tasogare Otome x Amnesia. The latter is about a guy who meets a female ghost who has lost her memory, and so doesn't know how or why she died and became a ghost, so the guy opts to help her find out. It's decent so far, pretty funny, nothing spectacular yet though.

The former i'm enjoying more, it's about a guy who tastes a new female transfer students' drool whilst she's asleep on her desk in class. He gets addicted to her saliva and she finds out, and they start going out. It is as crazy as it sounds. Really sweet art style too. Plus the main girl in it is hyper-waifu tier.

pic related

meanwhile i've also been watching The Big O and the occasional episode of Cardcaptor Sakura.

It's fun to watch when you're bored. It's very upbeat with a good OST too. It's worth a download, just don't expect a masterpiece storyline, it's episodic and mostly follows a formula. Give it a go if you want something cute and not intellectually challenging.

I've only seen bits of Bleach, and I didn't like what I saw. Death Note had an interesting concept, and was alright for a while, but went downhill after a while and never got better.

I am in the middle of InuYasha though

Bleach is pretty good but not very original, and the filler is way too frequent. I really liked Death Note even at the end. I like to think of it as a Sherlock Holmes type of thing, if Sherlock went insane trying to become a god and Watson was the grim reaper (that's not even a spoiler, it happens in the first episode and according to the show within the first week of the events of the show).
