Picked up turn a gundam. Really good series so far, the setting and atmosphere for the first couple of episodes are great, but I still can't get over the MC's character design.

The only redeeming points of that show was the classroom dance scene, delicious rei clone and class rep.

The Final Destination has already hit me. Comparing the deaths to Higurashi.....Higurashi still wins no matter what. Though, I've seen some pretty nice deaths in the show overall so far.

I kinda want to watch Another. Not because it sounds interesting. The cover for the novel just looks sexy. A pretty cool panel for the artist that drew that in 100 Masters of Bishojo Painting. Can't recall the persons name though.

Lets see I'm currently working on Sgt. Frog and just started watching Astroboy considering I'm a huge fan of Megaman. Ah lets see...Highschool of the Dead is almost done and despite being a walking fanservice it was kind of fun. Samurai Champloo I also started and kind of like the premise going on.

And uh yeah that's about all I could think of. While I'm here are there any other good anime on Netflix these days?

I finished the second season of Darker Than Black. What a lame ending. Why is it so often that a great anime has a shit ending?

Also, I finally got to see Redline, which was awesome.

I liked Hotd(anime) so much I ended up hating it cause of the shear amount of fanservice. Yeah, sure I was going hysterical over the fact that tits were dodging bullets but...that's not the point. The fanservice was emphasize so much.
Samurai Champloo is an art among itself. I would like to hear your overall thoughts once you finish the show.

So, is that the main reason so many people hate HotD? the fanservice? Or is it the mindlessness and lack of a decent plot? I still enjoyed all the zombie killing.

Hm. I didn't mind the fan service presented in the manga, but in the anime it seem like they were trying to hard. Wasn't even aware there was a plot...well aside the whole people are tryin to survive in a sudden zombie outbreak.
I say the first what 3, 4 episodes are pretty decent especially when bringing out the setting and atmosphere...yeah it just might be the lack of plot mixed with never ending waves of fanservice practically used as fillers

I still enjoyed all the zombie killing.

If you're alright with a longer series (52 episodes, including the first OVA), go with the latter. Otherwise, Chihaya (still ongoing, but only has three episodes left) is the best for you.

Just finished up Usagi Drop. It was pretty good, I guess. I've always loved mindless moeshit.

I enjoyed that anime. Very light hearted and hilarious. Cross dressing is definitely a winner in this case.

I have a friend that is balls deep for Blazblue. I've only played it once. And when i did, i got wrecked. He played with every character and made it a note to use the Astral moves of every character on me.

Sorry for this posts. Was giving me errors when I tried to post earlier. Seems to only give me issues when I try to reply so this should be a good test. Just downloaded a few new things to watch. Jin Roh, Fantastic Children, Tweeny Witches, Kino no Tabi, Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei, SDF Macross, Kamichu, and Read or Die OVA. Should be a busy next couple of weekends. Also bought a pretty neat issue of Animage. Came with act 01 of Time of Eve and has some interviews in moonspeak, then some pretty neat FMA and Nisemonogatari production sketches. Also got a pretty neat artbook which features works primarily by Hiroshi Kaieda, and goes in to details how each sketch is drawn. I have been spending too much money lately. I am starting to feel that this is more then just a hobby.

So, I've been kickin' been, watching the original Dragon Ball series, and man... IT'S FUCKING GREAT! I literally can't stop watching it, I'm 100% addicted. I'm going to watch the entire 150+EP series. Fuck yea.

And I (finally) started watching Steins;Gate... Once again, fucking GREAT! I can't believe I've been holding off all these shows for so long! It's gonna take me forever to finish my massive fucking backlist, I won't have time to watch any airing series for months!
