It feels more like an opening frame rather than an opening animation.

Well, Bye Bye Liberty Crisis is the first Lupin movie I've ever seen that I'd rate anything below a 9 out of 10. I guess I'd give it a 6.5. It was okay. I think I'll put it down for a 7 on Myanimelist, though, especially considering that a lot of the Lupin movies have a lower average rating than they deserve on that site.

So, I went to the Public Library to see if I could find a good, or at least half-decent manga. By fuck, man. All they had was Inyuyasha, Naruto, and the second-to-last book of Claymore. PIss me off.

Anyway, I've finished my anime list. Someone throw me a random recommendation.

It's been kickin' on my HDD for some time, might check it out tonight. In the mood for some mindless moeblob shit. Might hit up K-On! even though I've already watched it.

Everybody needs a bit of moeblob in their life. Without it, then we wouldn't have as many, "d'aaaawww" moments.

Post more, stay active.

This place gets so many random people coming in to dump their shit here, like it's some Japanese culture blog as opposed to creating more consistent discussion.

Or, you could just buy me dinner and drinks, maybe then you'll get more attention.

Finished Soul Eater in like......5 days? I don't think I've watched so much in such a short time-span. But it was worth it since I had a lot of fun with the show. It's Bones produced, so it's a stunner to boot. Good balance of humor and drama(not quite effective as in OP, though).

Worth a shot if you're looking for more shounen.

Started Akage no Anne tonight as well....this is going to be amazing.

I've been meaning to watch that, unfortunately it seems like Im lucky to watch two old show a season now, seeing as any spare time I have for watching seems to be taken up by airing anime.

The first time I ever started watching Samurai Champloo, I watched the whole show from beginning to end in one day. That's the most I've watched in a short period of time.

Also, I still haven't watched all of Soul Eater, but it's pretty cool. I love the art style and scenery and the action is quite good. However, the humor is fucking annoying and I hate that little prick, Black Star. He's like a carbon copy of Naruto. Fuck that kid.

I'm currently in the middle of it. There are so many eps... I can't wait to get back to my usual 12-25 ep animes...

The good stuff is usually 26 episodes, anyway. I can think of only a few exceptions. The rest is mostly bullshit. Naruto? Inuyasha? Yeah, fuck that shit.

Also, Sevkat, seriously, watch Kemonozume.

*26 episodes or less

also, for examples of exceptions that immediately come to mind, there's Shin Chan, Lupin, Hokuto no Ken, GTO, and...I dunno.

No offense, but frankly, that's a pretty baseless assumption. Off the top of my head I can list a couple dozen more after the exceptions you posted in your other post.

Touch
Cross Game
Revolutionary Girl Utena
One Piece
Slam Dunk
Legend of Galactic Heroes
Maison Ikkoku
Mobile Suit Gundam
Daddy Long Legs
Nobody's Boy: Remi
3000 Leagues in Search of Mother
Les Miserables
Marmalade Boy
Fushigi Yugi
Nadia: Secret of Blue Water
Monster
Master Keaton
Hajime no Ippo
FMA/FMA Brotherhood
Gokinjo Monogatari
Rose of Versailles

That's just off the top of my head. I used to think that 26 episode series was generally the perfect balance, with anything longer either being shounen or Mecha.

Now I think it's the total opposite. If anything, longer anime's are generally better if you ask me.

I'm afraid I haven't seen any of those, although I've seen a few episodes of FMA and several episodes of various Gundam shows. Out of the ones, I've seen, though, I think 08th MS Team is the best, and that one is only 12 episodes.
