Did you finish it yet? I also watched an episode or two when it was airing, and that was it. Just reading the wiki entry makes it seem 2DEEP4ME.
Would like to hear your opinion on it when you're done with it.

Only one volume? I think I'll read it.
anyone watching toriko
would you say he is the next goku?

I read the manga and it's alright. Toriko (the series not the character) loves to throw ridiculous numbers at you to make things seem more AWESOME!!!! than they really are but that's what shonen is so I can respect that.
Toriko is very much a Goku kind of character but I don't think he's quite as interesting.

Something more along the lines of Kenshiro from Fist of the North Star, Toriko's design is a spoof of Ken's design anyway.

I'll send you a PM, cutie :3333333333
But anyway, I decided to binge out the other day, and I've watched a bit of Anime.
First off, I FINALLY finished watching Darker than Black: Ryuusei no Gemini, and I gotta say, I was disappointed with the ending (as usual), but the entire series was fucking awesome. Hands down fucking awesome.
After that, I started watching Hyakka Ryouran, sober this time, and it's... Pretty shitty. It's in 1080p, the chicks are hot, the story's not bad, but I just find it boring for some reason. I might try watching a few episodes tomorrow.
THEN I started watching Seitokai Yakuindomo. I've only watched the first two episodes, but so far I think it's really funny. I'm probably gonna get really into it and watch all of it in a few days and be sad when it's over, and then try finding another good anime without having to sift through 30GB of bullshit.
And I downloaded Infinite Stratos, have any of you guys seen it? Worth watching, you think?

Currently reading Great Teacher Onizuka manga, it's a riot. Some proper curveballs, flat out trolling of the reader, and loads of little details and things. The scans I'm reading took a quick turn for the hideous though, so will have to find a new rip. These are seriously unreadable in places.

I know right? But I doubt you'll find different ones at all.
The viz scans come in around vol. 9 and they're definitely an improvement (at least from DUWANG to colored text boxes/bubbles).
Finished watching Bartender. It's a nice short slice of life kind of anime with a sweet jazz OST, about a bartender that helps people with their problems by making them delicious drinks.
Went to Safeway to get some cookies and skittles for my desk at work. One copy of Paprika left on sale for $5. I bought that shit. Also been watching GTO. It has a lot of fan service but it is used in a way that is tasteful, and very funny. I am definitely getting more then I expected out of this show. I thought it was going to be Golden Boy all over again.
Man I haven't posted in here in ages.
Penguindrum is still slapping me in the face every time I think I know what's going on, it's fantastic. I've lost interest in the worse airing shows, Fate/Zero is the only one this season I really look forward to seeing.
Ah, it's been a while since I posted. Lets see I started reading Yotsuba which is basically Azumanga Daioh but with a Dad like figure living with his ecentric daughter. Hmmm...I also got into Sgt. Frog if your a fan of Shin Chans weird sense of humor that's a good one, and I guess that's all for now.

True. I do have a blue ray rip already. I just wanted a picture of her to whitewash.

So, you actually found a use for a Paprika Bluray? Creative.
But hey, what would you guys pick out of:
Highschool of the Dead
Ichiban Ushiro no Daimaou
Seitokai Yakuindomo
or Seitokai Yakuindomo?

Not heard of Ichiban but out of HotD and seitokai I'd chose seitokai. Even though the humour was completely base, it was so very entertaining. Asides from the relatively unique main theme of "girls are perverts too", it played everything pretty much completely straight (for better or worse), and I loved it. HotD was entertaining but was sometimes just a little too ridiculous, even for me. The art was lovely though, and the gore and fanservice pushed through the roof.
Of course if you're looking for something with irreverent humour I'd suggest Yondemasuyo, Azazel-San over both of these.
'Here is Greenwood' was a neat little OVA from the early 90's, I had a nice time with it. Tried Princess Tutu earlier, but it hasn't really done much for me; shame since a lot of people rave about this show. This is why I rarely ever trust hype. Currently(and probably) just going to be reading some manga since I haven't picked up any interesting anime recently. Guess that's what tends to happen you've nearly seen everything that's worth watching/whatever is left worth viewing is unsubbed or(very, very slowly) in the process of getting English subtitles.

I watched a few episodes this morning, and it's fucking great.
And the art in HotD is good, but Samurai Girls has good art, too, but it's a flaming piece of shit.

Idk. I think it is a great movie. I just thought he was criticizing me buying a copy that was licensed in the US and not really supporting the producers by importing a copy for half my paycheck.

I don't know why theres so much hate on Elfen Lied.
I've watched it, it wasn't that bad. No where near as bad as everyone else makes it out to be.
This is a signature.
Hey there, i wanna join this anime heaven.
I love Death Note, Inuyasha, DBZ, Yu-Yu Hakusho, Rurouni Kenshin and a lot of other animes.
I also love video-games, i have an Xbox. Also had a ps1, ps2, Nintendo 64 and a gameboy Color in the past.
The first this i wanted to do in this Thread is to ask this:
Does anybody here knows the name of the band that sings the whole OST of Devil May Cry 3?

Ah yeah, hit there this morning, massive improvement. Although some of the text is still pretty small, I suppose that's my own fault for reading a manga full of tiny speech bubbles on a phone.
