So what are people watching this season? I haven't had time to watch all the first eps I want to, but I've watched a few.
Ben-To is a fucking riot, played gloriously straight and just so absurd that I cant stop grinning through the entire thing. It's pretty cool.
I'm also watching ika musume 2 just because.
UN GO seems okay, but the first ep's mystery was a little boring... and I want to know more about the backstory and might not get time to since it's only a noitamina so 11 eps. I like some of the art tho.
Chihayafuru has some gorgeous design and animation and stuff, but a little concerned that the plot seems pretty dull. Not watched ep 2 though so we shall see.
Tamayura Hitose is pretty dull, but first ep was all set-up. Will have to see how the second ep goes but think I'll drop it.
Haven't had time to watch first eps of guilty crown or new last exile series yet.

Finally and most importantly I'm 28 episodes through LoGH, absolutely loving it. I have time to watch three or four episodes of anime on my commute but i'm having a hard time finding time to watch all this airing shit because I keep wanting to find out what happens next in this.

I already finished Fate and Unlimited Blade Works, reading Heaven´s Feel at the moment. I also read all Tsukihime routes. I´m a big fan of Type-Moon.

finished F/SN a couple years ago when i was just a freshman . it really is a great read. tsukihime i never finish at all. i got myself lost in it somehow.
another great read is Saya no uta
and Clannad. I prefer Saya no uta more since its story is interesting in terms of disturbing and wahnot + its short(finished in about 6,8hours), as for Clannad its more of an emotional read but pretty long

Hope you enjoy it, man. UBW has always been my favorite of the routes, with Rin as my favorite Heroine.

If you haven't already, go check out Melty Blood and Kagetsu Tohya. Battle Moon Wars is fun as well.

Lol. I have been playing Melty Blood for two years. I will buy Actress Again if I can find it. The reason I began reading Fate Stay Night was to make time until some group translate Kagetsu Tohya to my idiom, but I got in love with FSN in the process.
Nice to see another Type-Moon fan here.

Guilty Crown, and Gundam Age. Unicorn, too, but I still need to watch the third OVA as well as other UC.

Maybe Ben-to, Phi Brain and Tamayura when they're at the half-way mark.

I might have to hop on the LOGH bandwagon sometime; it won't be happening soon though because my backlog just piles up everyday.

God what bad line up. I'm not one for anime group gatherings because they usually bring the really odd ones out. Then it turns really painful.

Hello gents, I'd like to join this fine club. Since, like the rest of you, I do enjoy me some quality Japanese animation. I wouldn't consider myself a 'hardcore' or an 'otaku' by any stretch, though. Anything I need to do to become a member here?

Sadly though, I quite agree with his sentiments. Anime clubs tend to lure out the more obnoxious examples of anime fans. From my experience at least; maybe you've had better examples of a fun, intelligent gathering for anime viewing and discussing.

As previously stated, I do not attend anime gatherings. If I did I would likely be one of the creepers that you guys bitch about because I would keep to myself, and watch anime rather then screaming whenever a scene I enjoy passes. The closest I have been to a gathering is watching a FLCL live stream with ~30 other random people online and discussing the show in-between episodes. I might attend a con or something this summer since I have a disposable income now but it would be to browse there shit and buy stuff I like not converse with cosplayers/weaboos/landwhales/normalfags /etc.

and you're retarded. i'm talking about the ones who do scream at half of the scenes, go out of their way to be everyones friend, get super bitter because someone doesn't like their favourite main and other bits i could list.

Just finished Neon Genesis Evangelion. Don't know what on earth was happening in those final two episodes.

Essentially if I recall correctly, it's the perspective of the main characters as instrumentality is realised (and humanity is merged into a collective consciousness)... or something like that. Each character in turn is looking inside themselves and... doing... something.
Well, in reality they just ran out of budget so decided to jump ship.

You should watch End of Evangelion, it's designed as an alternative take on the last couple of episodes, and is much more coherent than any of the rest of the series.

Yeah I kind of got that the characters were self reflecting or something. I do not remember the instrumentality getting explained though, maybe I just wasn't paying enough attention.

The End of Evangelion is like the canon ending? If so it is a weird and wtf ending, everyone dies.

Well, the second half of that movie was a total psychedelic trip. I'm still just as confused, if not more confused.

I say give it a shot. I saw it years back and enjoyed it a lot. It focuses more on Batou then the Major though. But since he's my favourite out of the series it made it that much more enjoyable for me.

Started watching Akagi, which is another gambling focused anime by the creators of Kaiji. Except this one is focused entirely around Mahjong, which I have absolutely no idea how to play. It's entertaining none the less.

Finished Geass R2. Despite all them TWEEESTTS and stuff, it was a blast to watch. I'd say it definitely lives up to the hype and praise.

Why do people in anime always refer to themselves in third person?
