I apologize, I am derailing the thread. Anime wise I have been trying to catch up on older stuff since I don't like anything that is airing this season except for Tamayura: Hitotose. The characters are cute, and likeable so it makes a good break between plot heavy shows I think. I have posted most of the stuff I have been watching recently. Watched a couple more episodes Aria the Natural today. Watched Perfect Blue last night. Watched Gunbuster, and finished Dennou Coil yesterday. Gonna watch a episode or two of Gunbuster 2, and House of 5 leaves tonight. Probably gonna rewatch Iblard Time tonight or tomorrow. I have a pretty full schedule for the week now so I probably won't be watching much of anything till this weekend when I plan to marathon NGE, EoE, and RoE.
Now to elaborate a little bit on Dennou coil although I am sure most of you guys have already seen it. Everything about it is above average. The animation is nice. There aren't any big plot holes. It is not riddled with unneeded fanservice. The OST is very tasteful. It starts out slow like most shows do but hooks you after a few episodes. The show is pretty relate-able to any generation that came after my generation. It goes in to the blurring line between our reality and online, and gives multiple perspectives on it. There are a lot of similar themes to Serial Experiments Lain, but its obvious that they aren't trying to copy it and ponyback on its success. There is something for all ages in this anime, and I think anyone that is patient with it will find it enjoyable for different reasons depending on age.
