yeah man, although i'd argue it was getting pretty real last week. looking forward to the conclusion of this last arc. Perhaps interesting thing could happen involving lunatic perhaps?

Also, commie released this episode in both 8-bit and 10-bit. Now, I'm only watching on my laptop with it's screen that isn't the best, but I have to say I approve. I can run it fine, no lag or anything even though it's supposed to take up slightly more processing power I think, and more importantly it's under half the file-size. Either way I wholeheartedly approve.

Edit: As far as I understand, it was an unrelated group that re-released it in hi10.
Still, I'm impressed.

Is anyone else in here currently watching Kaiji season 2? After storming through the first season it's absolutely soul crushing to have to wait weekly for each episode now, it's just too intense for that.

Any other opinions on Blue Exorcist?

Also, i'm going to watch the second season of Kaiji as soon as it finishes airing. Unless it already has, in that case i'll watch it whenever I have the time. ha

Hey you guys, I was wondering if you all guys could give me a list of as many mature animes about serial killers, mobs, etc. as you could.

Also, not death note.

I've decided to not watch t&b until the season's finished. Waiting every week for a new episode is just too much. Doing the same with steins;gate.

Agreed, but I plan on rewatching it when the blu-ray is released. Honestly one of the best movies I've seen in a while. The movie just oozed style. A 7 year hand drawn masterpiece deserves a second watch.

Seriously. That or Benkei in New York. There aren't that many anime's out there that deal with such a subject, you're betting off picking up some manga titles.

Redline blu-rays are out. If you enjoyed the movie support the artists by buying the movie once it comes to your country.

I am calling the newspapers with both phones ;_;

I've preordered the UK release on amazon, but that doesn't come out until november so until then I'll have to make do with this hideous internet connection.

Oh well.

Also thirding sanctuary, read it a couple of weeks ago, great tale. Interesting to learn a bit about japanese politics while I'm at it (pinch of salt or no), although the version I read was an official viz american distribution, so every page had been mirrored to read left to right, which was very confusing.

Could anyone recommend me some good animes to watch? The only anime I've ever watched was elfen lied, but I've read dragonball and dn angel in manga form, and I liked them a lot.

But I do have the dn angel anime. But I haven't started watching it yet. Is it worth watching?

Compared to Elfien Lied, anything is worth watching.

not seen it, but heard all about it from critics and thirteen year olds.

What sort of thing are you looking to watch? Sci-fi? Drama? Action? Harem romance? Cute girls doing cute things? What length do you want to watch? a movie, 6 eps, 13 eps, 26 eps, 100 eps, etc?

Give us an idea and we'll see what we can do.

I honestly don't really know, I did however enjoy reading chobits and tokyo mew mew, so I guess cute girls doing cute stuff would be perfect for me. But I'll have a look at anything you guys would consider good. As long as it doesn't involve a lot of fighting. Since I think animes with a lot of fighting is a bit silly, especially when the battles last a couple of episodes.
As for the length, I would prefer episodes. I rarely have time to watch whole movies. The number of episodes is irrelevant for me.

Check out:
Azumanga Daioh
Card Captor Sakura
Shugo Chara
Kaleido Star
Divergence Eve

The last one suffers from quite a bit of problems, but is still worth watching.

The mangaka, Yoshihiro Togashi, doesn't tend to release new chapters on a daily basis. As he's rather infamous for taking frequent breaks due to other issues(Or, he could just be lazy). Although, some new ones have been released just recently so you're in luck.

I'm looking forward to the new H x H anime this fall, btw.

There are many good animes. Try Kara no Kyoukai someday.

The anime of Elfen Lied wasn't that great but there is alot worse out there. To anyone who is interested in it, I recommend the manga. It has a more detailed story and a better ending.

Does anyone know of a good anime website? So far I am relying on Crunchyroll and it is pretty limited it seems.

Looks like it's starting over again, but continuing up to the current arc(Which should be done by the time this catches up) instead of ending with the confrontation with the Spiders, and the Greed Island stuff like the previous tv show/OVA's.

You already replied to that post before.

But man you're right this last episode shit just got so much more real, what with Lunatic figuring things out and the confrontation between Kotetsu and all the other heroes. My only apprehension is I don't see how it can fill 4 more episodes from here without becoming filler-y.

To be honest I'm a bit annoyed that Lunatic is so damned theatrical. He had the opportunity to blow this case open with his position and his knowledge and everything, and yet all he does is act mysterious and give kotetsu a chance to escape. I'll be interested to see how Kaede will feature next week too, especially since she currently has maverick's memory editing powers.

As for 4 remaining episodes, well, it'll be at least two before these memory hijinks are resolved, a third to catch maverick then a fourth epilogue or something. That's what I think. I see your point. To be honest, I watch an episode and when blue rose's pepsi ad pops up I forget that that's just the half-way mark, it's amazing how much they manage to pack into an episode of T&B.

One thing that bothers me is that I don't see enough time in this to give lunatic any closure. I can't see them having enough time to cover any capture/reveal by the current team,
