Anyone watch Samurai 7? Just stumbled upon it, seems awesome.
The fact that it's a remake of one of my favorite films (Seven Samurai), except with a mecha skin, is a major bonus.
rewatched ninja scroll for the first time in a long time, good shit, jubei is a boss
also finished yondemasuyo azazel-san and found it surprisingly entertaining

Good show, but it does it's own thing halfway through, and the CGI can get to be a little much. But I enjoyed it.

I'm sure that's something to be proud about.
Quick, what first?
Yu yu Kashio or Fist of the north star?

It's alright, bro. We all make mistakes.

Mugi is the only reason the show is watchable. K-On is just a failed ripoff of Azumanga

Yeah I know I spelled it wrong...Without a speedy answer, I just decided to borrow fist of the north star first.
BTW here's a cracked.com article, I thought it was pretty funny. 9 beloved characters made horrifying by Japan.
Hundred Stories is pretty cool so far. I like it. I'm thinking of also starting Corpse Princess soon, if I can.

I love Cracked.
I want to watch a new anime, something dark similer to the themes of berserk. I said watch not read manga.
Also something that isnt 100 episodes and drags on with filler.

Tekkaman Blade. 49 episodes, skip the OVA sequel.
====
-Watching S2 of 00. It's just as amazing as S1, and I'm not sure why it's so disliked.
-Picked up City Hunter, too - will watch some other time

Okay, I just started Yondemasu yo, Azazel-san, it's absolutely hilarious. There's moments like this potentially dubious line that IB translated (apparently he just says gibberish), and then there's just just.. just... i don't know what.
It's about a detective agency that uses demons (the titular azazel is a demon of sexual peversion) to carry out its jobs, and it's just raucus. The humour may be a little (actually very) crude in places, but I just can't stop laughing, it's actually amazing. Plus it's only like 13 eps and they're all 12 mins long so it's hardly any investment of time.
The HD Break Blade 6 came out last night for whoever cares.
Finished Eden of the East
Honestly I found it pointless, a bunch of hullabaloo that actually goes nowhere at all. I had heard good things so I was disappointed.

It started off with so much potential, I was a bit let down too. Still, I thought the last episode was great.
(Don't watch the movies they're terrible)
Ive only ever seen anime films. i want to get into a big, mature anime series.
im 23, im not really into the childish ones.
Anything you could reccomend?
There's a point in every avid anime watcher's life where he comes to the conclusion that he has seen every noteworthy and well produced anime ever made. I feel like I've been at that point for over a year now.
New steins;gate episode was a little disappointing. Can't wait for shit to get real again. Considering picking up the VN.

Definitely my favorite comedy of the last season. It's a bit sad that the episodes and series were so short. Really funny stuff.

What do you mean by 'big'? Episode lenght? Not that many long ones out there. Monster is your pretty standard choice for something long and mature. But I'll take a more alternative route and recommend Maison Ikkoku and Touch. They're lighthearted compared to Monster, but the writing, characters and development make up for it. In my eyes those are well written titles that I'd consider mature.
Nana and Oniisama e are also plenty mature. Long as you don't mean 'mature' by violence or how dark the atmosphere is, but more along the lines of proper development and writing.
