Pretty much.

Gai is an amazing unit in SRW-W (especially fully upgraded), and that game encouraged me to pick up the show. His final attack (that golden hammer of light; not sure what it's called yet -- haven't gotten to GGGF.) he gets endgame is great, and the battle animation makes it even better.

What do you guys think of the whole case of Anime that doesn't know when to stop? Bleach could have perfectly well ended after Aizen was defeated and Ichigo losing his powers and the burden of being the substitute shinigami, but it just keeps going, huh? Makes me wonder what the ending will be like.

It's going to suck I can tell you that much. I actually would have liked it to end with Ichigo losing his powers after Aizen because that would have been relatively atypical of the series and it was a satisfying conclusion. However, because Bleach constantly desires to punish me for following it, Kubo decides that he wants to milk his already dry series like some sleazy Slovak whore. This current arc is a redundant step backwards that only continues to exacerbate my growing distaste for the series as a whole. I think by the end I won't even have 'fond memories of when it was good.'

Also, what do you think of Naruto? I used to watch it, but never too seriously, but I'm thinking of watching it seriously now. Is the filler THAT bad? The bount arc in Bleach was the biggest pile of trash I've ever seen in Anime, nothing can possibly be as bad as that... right? I never really watched Shippuden either, I'll have to start.

Naruto is reaching Bleach territory but it is still miles better in my opinion. For one thing it actually feels like it's trying to wrap things up in as big a way as possible. This is both good and bad as some of it veers into ridiculousness and honestly i've begun to lose track of everything that is happening.

As far as filler goes Naruto is okay I guess. The filler arcs are what they should be, minor occurrences that don't require some kind of life or death struggle between the protagonist and some random villain who is entirely inconsequential. Obviously this means most of the filler is boring and not worth watching but at least it isn't incredibly asinine and forced like the Blount Arc in Bleach.

It's funny how shit like Bleach is still going strong while Hunter X Hunter is in hiatus hell and series like Ikigami and Ubel Blatt are just fading away entirely.

Fuuuu- I didn't even realize Bleach is a mighty morphing power rangers prequel.

First seasons decent. 2nd season is shit. Whole series highly overrated.

Just finished Sakigake!! Otokojuku. One of the best animes I've seen. If you like Hokuto no ken and the likes, you should watch this.

Really? I enjoyed second season, not as good as first but still pretty good I thought. Probably because I didn't really like yin that much so was glad to see her lesser involvement in the 2nd series.

It was a while ago when I watched darker then black but I remember everyone like dying in the first season then they all magically came back to life for season 2. I don't believe they ever explained how they came back. I would rewatch them to see if I missed something but I don't find it interesting enough to do so. On another note I heard gg has been saying on there irc that they dropped Ano Hana. Kind of shitty if the rumor is true since they where doing a great job on this series and they where 1 episode away from the finally.
