To be honest, I haven't seen much of the Gundam series (I have the three novels Tomino wrote as well as the Crossbone manga. Maybe I'll read those after I'm finished with G, and Darker than Black) so I can't really speak for those fans.

Whatever seriousness it doesn't provide, it makes up for entertainment value and in charming.

I can agree with this, however.

But yeah, I wonder what Burning Gundam and Noble Gundam's kids would look like if they could reproduce...

THIS IS MY FETISH.

Regarding Gundam, I have been wondering.

At the end of "Char's Counterattack", did Amuro and Char die in the ending. It was kind of ambiguous so I have no idea what happened.

Granted that light show wasn't just for show but still, what just happened?

They were reported missing in action. And from the looks of it, they died. Amuro wasn't ever shown again, although Char's situation is a bit unclear.

As how he seemingly appears in Gundam Unicorn(or it's a clone of sorts)

Oh shut up orangebomb hasn't even replied to any of your posts in the last week and even then he was pretty reasonable. Stop trying to stir up drama. What happens in that Elfen Lied thread is of no concern to here.

I have been too busy cleaning XBlade scans recently to watch anything. My first assignment was a full chapter thats like 50 pages. Once I finish up I plan on watching this Summer Wars everyone raving about then hardcore gaming for at least 24 hours.

IT'S GEORGE DE SAND

END FUCKING SPOILERS

It's not George; we all know that's a load of bull.
I wasn't surprised about Schwarz Bruder's identity because I took German in high school.

What games do you intend to play on those 24 hours?

Hmmm good question. Probably Combat Arms for the most part but throwing in some starcraft II and maybe some lotro throughout the day. Might try out AVA I have heard good things. I probs shouldn't be talking about this in anime club though. So this post has some relevance to the thread I will own the Box Set of Welcome To NHK tommorow. I decided to skip buying the FLCL boxset. Its not really a steal considering its only 6 episodes. Also have evangelion 1.11 in the mail and 2.22 preordered. I plan on building up a collection of legitimately obtained anime now slowly. Im starting to feel like a scum bag each time I go on my encrypted partition >.>.

Fuck this weeks episode of Madoka was good. I'm also surprised at how fucking well people predicted it.

I watched the first 3 episodes of MSG and I was really surprised at how crisp the dub sounded.

I think it's early to make any judgement on the show itself but I plan to keep watching for sure.

Probably because the dub was made only several years ago.

So Schwarz is a cyborg/android built by Germans that looks like Kyoji? I expected him to be Kyoji, but I guess that's alright. Maybe the incoming episodes will unravel this mystery.

The New Shuffle Alliance vs. Domon, and Schwarz matches were great. Now I'm on the Devil Gundam revival/Battle Royale. Master Asia and Domon's team-up episode was alright, and shows that Asia isn't a complete monster that messes with your waifu.

Indeed, also he may have a hard on for Chow Yun Fat.

Don't worry, something will happen to him soon enough.

Dat lesbianism is heavily implied from what I can tell. You don't do what she's doing for a friend you only knew for a few weeks.

Ease off you two

Also just started watching Fractale, really really like this. Very studio ghibli vibe, feels like a big mix of most of the films mayazaki put out.

I dig.

Probably because it can't even find it's own sense of identity, so it has to go steal Studio Ghibli/Gainax tropes.

Be comfortable in your delusions of self-importance but you should remember just how pathetic you sound.

Eh, perhaps the setting's a little tired but the plot's pretty interesting and the concept's neat enough.

After I watched eve no jikan I spent ages on youtube trying to find mizu no kotoba, finally found one with english subs after a dozen with russian but it was horrible quality. Not bad, especially considering how short a length it is, but I prefer pale cocoon. Just a single 25min OVA but it manages to squeeze so much into that time. Had a great ending too. Go watch it.
