Watching more KOR, it's boring and I just want it to be done and over with. Probably the most overrated oldschool favorite I've seen yet. Also got One Piece going; surprisingly I'm finally warming up to it, looking forward to the next few arcs.

Next up are Gankutsuou, Hime-Chan, and maybe NANA. Still need to get back to Gungrave as well.

Yeah? Is it?

Well you can take Mizu no Kotoba and shove it up your ass, cunt.

The next episodes have been really fuckwin -- the fights were definitely amazing (dem tag-team attacks, man). They answered my question about Schwarz/Kyoji, and Allenby is safe.

Master Asia and Domon's final fight was definitely the best battle in the show. Nothing compares to it, man, it was even the best episode of the whole anime. Gonna watch the last three/four episodes soon.

Can't see why I wouldn't, looks good enough. Added it to my netflix queue, also added Genshiken, been meaning to see that for a long time.

Just watched Summer Wars and it was really impressive. Not gonna talk about it much since everyone has already seen it. I think I am gonna rewatch the older NGE movies. I dont really remember what happens in end of evangelion other then shinji with a load of cum in his hand and rei severely injured. I gotta start cleaning up XBlade chapter 37 soon cause I will be recieving the raws tomorrow more then likely but I think im gonna take a couple days break and catch up on some anime. So if anyone has any recommendations I will take them and more then likely watch them. 2 days is probably about 50 episodes for me so don't recommended anything extremely long. K thx bai.

What the fuck is up with all the reaction images guys. I thought I was on /a/ for a second.

So Index 2 only has 2 episodes left, if/when the 3rd series starts shit is going to go down man. I just hope they adapt the novels all the way up to New Testament, because there's so much awesome shit still to come.

Hetalia was a good watch. I liked the way they (spoiler, I guess) personified the countries. While I'm not into a lot of cute, kawaii type animes, I will gladly make an exception for both Axis Powers Hetalia and Hetalia World Series. One thing for sure is that I will probably never take History class seriously again.

So I finally finished G Gundam, and it had a great finale (despite the POWER OF LOVE~ that prevailed in the end). Overall, this has been an amazing series -- everything was done well (characters, plot, action/battles, etc). I think it barely left any plot holes that need to be filled. Definitely an instant favorite.

The saddest part is that it ended, and I'm not going to be able to see more of Domon and co.'s adventures.

Next up is Darker than Black, then maybe more Gundam.

Watched the first few episodes of Gosick. Although I do think the animation is pretty impressive the story line didn't interest me at all. It has to be one of the most boring animes I have watched in a while; I don't understand why it is so highly rated. Then again I have never really liked mystery novels so it could just not be for me.

*Eva Spoilers*
So re-watched Evangelion 2.02 but this time I actually watched a HQ copy rather then just a camcorder in a theater (before anyone starts spewing nonsense about piracy I already have this movie preordered on amazon for when its released at the end of the month). I gotta say its a really impressive movie. I like how unlike the first rebuild movie I feel like i'm actually watching an alternative story. I found 1.01 pretty disappointing because all they really did is improved the animations a bit and kept everything else the same as the series. They made Rei and Shinji a lot more dynamic in 2.02. They took away a lot of Shinjis constant bitching and moaning and amplified the emotions that Rei develops. I'm wondering how they are going to go about the next movie. It seems as though Shinji managed to extract Rei in this movie so maybe after the spear hits them they freeze unit 1, and they both are LCL like when Shinji got some high ass sync ratio in the series . Or I guess they could just say Rei is dead and make another and then her former personality will be lost again. I have seen emotionless Rei a million times so I am actually hoping she is still herself in quickening. On top of all the changes to the story line I thought the animation ( especially toward the end as Shinji was taking Rei out of the angels core and almost caused the third impact) was done beautifully. I am really happy that they are taking there time with Quickening and if they aren't under funded I think it will be a amazing addition to the NGE collection.

Well get over it, it's a perfectly enjoyable series. Hell you don't even exactly need to watch all 4 series in a row by any means. I've only seen season 1 and one of the movies, CH2 is supposed to be the best one, but I'll get to it later.

Ill watch a few more episodes later and see if it interests me at all. If not I am gonna drop it. I am kinda under the impression that a story should have you hooked on it since the start. If its not able to hook me after six episodes then I think its safe to say its not my thing.

Also started Puella Magi Madoka Magica, regardless of how much I sound like I've come straight out of /a/ I'm finding it difficult not to rave about it. I really like it so far (first 5 eps), and am eager to see how it pans out over the next eight. I've heard of the ridiculous amounts of WMGing that's going on about it, and I'm doing my best not to read spoilers about it, and yeah it's awesome. The surreal art style is captivating, the plot interesting, and yeah it's just pretty good.

When I was a kid (and back on the day on Newgrounds), I really did not like anime at all. I was a hater, to be perfectly honest.

Recently, I've had the chance to look through some fantastic films though that have totally changed my mind. I've seen most of Hayao Miyazaki's work ("Princess Mononoke", "Howl's Moving Castle", "Spirited Away", "Castle in the Sky", "Ponyo", and I'm forgetting a bunch of the others I've seen), the beautiful and poignant "Grave of the Fireflies", and the lovely anime version of "Metropolis", which holds fantastic visuals much like the original Fritz Lang movie. And I've come away from all of this very impressed.

I've seen some old series that haven't left me as spellbound, but I have to admit now in my old age, that anime is a beautiful art form that when done the right way, can be captivating. It's fantastic stuff. Anyways, I'm not joining here or anything-- just thought y'all would like to know that.

Finished watching Ergo Proxy, Kaiba (replaced 2nd half of Brigadoon to liven things up), and Captain Harlock: Endless Odyssey (swapped places with Cosmo Warrior Zero since there's another Galaxy Express 999 movie). First two were interesting watches, especially the latter's balance of cutesy art style and serious story, while the last was unfortunately underwhelming. Next up is Mushishi, Tytania, and Gun Frontier + Cosmo Warrior Zero, while daytime has more Gintama, now with Rose of Versailles to join it. Now off to watch Vampire Hunter D.

Yeah, I'm thinking I'm back.

Well I would suggest the Studio Ghibli films and Cowboy Bebop since they're very accessible to a westerner, but I don't really feel up for a dressing down from kermit + mendou so I'll suggest Perfect Blue. I mean it was originally planned to be a live action film, so it's perfect for bridging the gap. Also it's just a fantastic film anyway.

Also Samurai Champloo, Death Note, Black Lagoon, Outlaw Star, stuff like that.

Hypothetical. I don't plan and forcing anyone to watch anime just wanted to see what kind of anime you guys would recommend to other adults maybe people you work with or friends that probably just think there weird Japanese kid shows. It also seemed like a nice way that I can pick up a few new series to check out XD.

Nice job wasting our time.

Why didn't you just ask us to recommend to you directly instead of this hypothetical indirect way? It would have had the same results.

Lmao. I already have city hunter on my list give me more and ill book mark em and keep em in mind. I plan on watching the first season when I finish cleaning this really LQ chapter. I am the only cleaner assigned to XBlade so the group leaders making me do a lot of time consuming work. Most scanlators have at least a few cleaners per manga. Cleaning LQ scans is a bitch because you have to like fill in all the black on the page with black so it gets rid of all the grain that you cant simply remove by leveling. I think the leader thinks i'm gonna quite soon or something since he keeps trying to rush me on shit he hasn't even translated yet.

Hrm, I'm not really sure that's how I see it at all. In the past week I've watched The Girl Who Leapt Through Time, Akira, and some random episodes of Captain Tsubasa, and I plan on keep watching more of it. I'm trying to sort of go through the standard sort of Western repertoire so I can get more into it instead of just sort of leaping into something which I won't really feel too hard.

But, I like the whole putting words into my mouth bit. I guess it's been awhile since I've been around the BBS, should've expected it with such a pansy-ass post though, my bad.
