It has happened before. I believe a few years ago, we were locked for a few hours due to spammers until LLStarks petitioned to have the club re-opened.

I was wondering when the release date for the Trigun movie was going to be. One of my more favorite dubs despite Johnny being Vash's VA.

Bought the Evangelion: 1.11 You Are Not Alone DVD the other day. Only twenty dollars or so at Best Buy so I said why not. Also got Demon's Souls and I must say this game is the whole fucking bee. I love how OP'd some of the scrub enemies are and how massive a lot of the bosses are. The tower knight was too easy but he looked quite impressive. Best Buy also had the complete series of Gundam 0083: Stardust Memory for around $40 or so. They never have the complete G Gundam series when I'm in one but they have 0083? Kinda odd... Then again G Gundam is probably the most obscure in the series next to Turn A(maybe). I passed on 0083 because I'm saving up for an 'L' desk to put all of my current consoles and monitors on. Heh, might have to get two to hold all of it.

Inuyasha: The Final Act is finally over, now I can be satisfied with the series(or as much as possible). But the 26th episode is still missing so it'll probably be another week or so until it sees a good work over.

Unfortunately, no-one on the panel was familiar with Code Geass. "The Execution" is today at high noon, and two other suggested characters will be put to death in effigy.
Also today, I'm cosplaying Guile from the Street Fighter series again and doing whatever it takes to be chosen in Anime Fight Club. I hope those countless hours of practice in front of my Xbox 360 will finally pay off.

There was an anime/comic/video game/other geeky things expo this weekend (coincidentally called 'Armageddon Pulp Expo'). I've gone in previous years, but not for the last two. I couldn't be bothered going this year either.

I can never get into the culture. Walking around a large crowded room with a bunch of people dressed in ridiculous costumes is just such an uncomfortable experience for me. Especially when you occasionally have to see a guy dressed as a cat boy in a costume that leaves little to the imagination. They do all the silly event things in it, like costume contests, 'kamehameha' contests, among others, but I wouldn't want to take part in them.

Besides that, the things they sell in stalls aren't any cheaper than they would be if I just went to buy them at the comic shop.

They do have anime movie showings, though, so that's pretty cool.

I leave for less than a week and all this happens?! please stay on topic guys I don't want this club to be locked.

On topic: I'm thinking of watching Hunter x Hunter. should I?

Tonight was epic. First, I competed in the "Legend of the Hidden Temple" panel, based on the old game show on Nickelodeon. I found one of the staff members planted in the audience to get my team past the first round, and we kicked ass at the trivia questions in the second round. The third round was very hectic; neither team really succeeded in the target shooting portion, but I did an amazing job in the swordsmanship challenge, slicing all my targets in half while my opponent, who cosplayed a Samurai, could barely graze them. After that was the Anime Fight Club. The first fights were no contact, and the last fight was no holds barred; I was chosen for the 3rd-to-last fight, so it was pretty intense. My opponent was a guy I've seen around in previous conventions, and I think he was cosplaying Bob Makihara from Tenjho Tenge - he had hand wraps that felt like a plaster cast, so I'm glad we weren't going full force or to the face. I brought a prop for this event; a foam rubber stress ball wrapped in a yellow cloth to simulate my Sonic Boom, and I think it impressed the judges because I was declared the winner. All that practice with Street Fighter IV was well worth it - I even said the line, "Go home and be a family man" after the fight.
The next event was a trivia game show, and my talent for useless knowledge was showcased yet again. I was the third of six contestants to pass the qualifying round (they were looking for eight, but two questions proved too hard for the whole audience.) I was the runner-up, but I could have made it to the final round if I didn't mess up a couple of questions I should have known. At least I got a free Anime Punch t-shirt.
