I think 15 or 16 of those apply to me. I don't know if my high standards for women are actually a result of my love of anime or if it's just because I'm a Japanophile. However, I'm most certainly not a weeaboo; I'm proud to be an American, and I wouldn't have it any other way.

10, but the subs and dubs one is irrelevant to me, since, you know, english isn't my first language

Also 5 shows not shown on a US network? Lot easier with five shows not shown on a Finnish network, that is, pretty much every one I've ever seen.

Incidently, do I get points for writing my next creative writing piece in Japan? It's not a idealistic view, though.

you have been to an anime convention

no

you read a weekly manga

no

you are part of, or used to be part of, an anime club in college/high school

no

you have watched an entire 24 + episode series in 24 hours

I may have, but I'm not sure. I did start and complete Samurai Shamploo in either one or two days. I can't remember how much break time I took. And I don't remember how many episodes there are of that show.

you have eaten pocky or some other type of Japanese snack food

yes

you own a non-cosplay anime related article of clothing

no

you spend $100 a month on anime/manga/hentai

no

you prefer Japanese subs over English dubs

I prefer everything I watch with its original dialogue, with a few exceptions, such as Cowboy Bebop, Shin Chan and Lupin. I watch a lot of foreign films, so I'm used to subtitles.

you have had anime related dreams

not that I recall

you know 10+ words/phrases in Japanese

probably. I tend to pick up words. That's why I want to learn a few languages. I think I'd learn quickly.

you own an anime-related weapon replica/figurine

I still have 2 little Berserk figures that I got for my birthday years ago. I think it was my 12th or 13th birthday. not sure. I know I had not yet heard of Berserk at the time. Actually, I'm not sure where those figures are.

you have at least one poster/wall scroll hanging in your room

I have a couple pictures that I cut out of an old Hellsing calendar. There's on of Alucard, one of Walter, and one of Alexander Anderson.

you have grown sexually attracted to an anime character

no. years ago, yeah.

you have unrealistically high standards for the opposite sex because of anime

I think I have reasonable standards for women.

you spend more time watching anime than you do watching non-anime TV

I don't know.

you have a collection of 20 + anime, pirated or otherwise

yes, definitely

you wish you had a girlfriend who would cosplay for you

That would just be awkward.

you know the correct usage of 6+ honorifics

what?

you have anime opening/closing theme songs on your mp3 player/computer

yes, and OSTs and a few songs from OSTs

you can list off 5+ anime never shown on American television

Finished reading Ichi the killer. Quite psychological and violent, but i could also refer to it as comedy because it has some of the sickest humor ever, and its pretty funny.

I really need to re-read that.

Saw the movie, read the manga, saw the OVA, decided the manga was the best of them.

Really liked the twisted sense of humour Kakihara exhibited.

I have to say, the non-cosplay items of clothing I own is a Engrish sweater that's too small that says "Salior Moon" and an old SM nightgown with a print of the front of her uniform and a blue skirt sewn to the bottom of it. *blush*

I just have some t-shirts, most of which are subtle eniough to not scream WEEABOO QUEER.

Except maybe that Zeta Gundam Hawaiian shirt, but the fact it's way too big and yellow is a crime against fashion on its own.

I have two t-shirts that probably fit in this category. One that says "Otaku" in kanji, and the other that says "Anime Junkie". I also have a messenger bag that says "Anime - Crack is Cheaper", butI don't know if you can call that clothing.
Funnily enough, when I cosplay, I tend to use clothes I find in my closet. For example, I made a Guile costume out of an ordinary green A-shirt, army surplus BDU pants, and boots.

I don't have any animu clothing, I wouldn't mind a Oofuri baseball cap, it would be rather subtle, easy to pass as your garden variety baseball cap.

Did I ever mention how hard I RAGE'd when I saw a girl, maybe 12 at a shop with a Naruto headband?

Oh, on the topic of animu and clothing, I bought a soviet (well, Russian) navy shirt because of Black Lagoon, one of those long-sleeved striped undershirts.

Watched Dead or Alive (Lupin) last night with my dad... well, technically, it spanned over two nights, seeing as we saw about an hour into it before we both kind of konked out from being too tired. He seems to really like it, and we watched the interview with Monkey Punch, and he was like "orly Arsene Lupin let's WIKI IT HOORAY ON MY SUPER LAPTOP JUST FOR THIS ROOM". So I think he wants to see more.

Also had one of my customers approach me on my break when I was reading MW, and he was like "Yeah, Osamu Tezuka's a pretty cool guy", to which I was like "well yeah". He and his mum were chatting about him as they left, which I was like "wooo".

Also, I got a Miyazaki shirt from the last comic con I went to. Princess Mononoke rattler guy that's Mendou's user icon. :D

I watched about six episodes of it and then stopped when the following episode's subtitle file didn't work for me.

I should really get back to watching it but I'm finding I don't have as much drive for watching anime at the moment.

I also need to watch the last three episodes of Ergo Proxy at some point.

Man, I'm hopeless.

That being said I just started watching the second season of Stand Alone Complex after my brother got two DVDs of it out from the video store. It's good so far. I liked the episode which offered a perspective of a random character a lot. The second episode.
