A bunch of the Dragonball Z games are pretty decent too.

The YuYuHakusho game was too complicated to play in one sitting (since I didn't own it), but it seemed to pretty much be the same as the DBZ games.

He didn't seem to have that bad a childhood.

His father was killed, sure, but then he was taken in by some pretty nice people.

He didn't have to become the number 2.

He was just blindly pursuing the less than admirable goal of revenge, and never redeems himself.

Welcome to the plot of 99.9% of samurai flicks. Not to mention "less than admirable" is a poor choice of words since the poor bastard saw his father get fucking decapitated as a child, I think that's decent motive for revenge.

Plus, expecting a well-written plot from something called "Afro Samurai" is sort of beyond foolish.

It's not that the motive is less than admirable.

It's the revenge itself.

The fact that he's killing all these people just to get revenge is horrible.

Well, I would agree and say that Afro Samurai was decent at best, but the fact that it has Samuel L. Jackson as the two main characters made it awesome. Actually, the whole ninja-ninja bit was cool, cause he was like an opposite or something.

Revy is a bit too badass to be considered 'moe'.

Also, that's chibi, not loli.

Plus, try and rape that, say goodbye to your man-parts, she'll tear them off with her bare hands...

Anyway, on Anime Videogames, I've played one of the Dragonball games. It was pretty decent, though, as usual, I sucked.

I had a Dragon ball game for the PS2, it was fun for a while, but i didn´t really take that much skill and the characters were unbalanced.

I just finished watching Berserk, it was really good, especially the fights. Guts is badass.
The ending was kind of wierd though.

I don´t really read manga, i only do when i´m on a long car ride somewhere and i see something interesting in a kiosk. The only mangas i have are Battle royale volume 12 and Death note volume 1.
I don´t like reading.

Well then it looks like you're just never going to find out what happens now do you? Manga isn't hard to read at all, you can finish a 200+ page volume in about 35 min's.

Just do it.

Eh, i might pick it up sometime, there´s a store pretty close to me that sells a lot of manga.
I could of course look for a scan of it though.

It's pointless, really, since all the rape is pretty much the least appealing part of Berserk and that's the only thing he'd miss out on.

Best to just pick up from where the show left off, saves time since the series is so fucking long.

Be warned, though, the story gets frustratingly tedious after about volume 20.

I recently watched Riding Bean. It was pretty entertaining, but I was stuck with the English dub, which was horrible.

I still get kind of mad when I think about it. I was so into the show and then it just stopped at such a bad spot. I was pissed when I first finished watching it.

It would be great if someone made a new series taking place after that, or maybe a couple OVAs.

Ranma has died... Ranma has risen... Ranma will come again...

But yeah, besides Gendo, anyone of you guys think the new Ranma OAV has other implications?(Like more Ranma oavs?)

Because they picked quite an uneventful story to have an OAV about, so I think it may be signs of a revival of a dead show... this time with none of the filler crap.

Pic related, in Symbolism, context, and awesomeness.

It's a prequel to Gunsmith Cats, which I've never seen or read.

Also I'm sure the dub can't be too bad.

Why would you think that?

I doubt that's going to happen, the guy's pretty hellbent on just working on the manga.

Was Miura involved in the show?

I don't know, but he doesn't talk very much about it.

He's probably like Hirohiko Araki and thinks his works aren't suited to anime adaptations due to length, content and style.
