Well, get used to it.
Also, I'm still probably in your house.

Almost makes me want to work at a funeral home just for the sake of doing some "experiments".

Well, your resume is admirable. But, if you don't mind me asking, what exactly made you want to intern at a funeral home?

I don't have wireless internet.
I'm going to go look for the cord connected to my modem that you're siphoning my internet out of.

Sexy Losers is so fucking great.
I decided to watch an episode of Kanon (the 2006 version).
If nothing else, it's well animated.
But other than that, it still seems decent (though I'll have to watch more to validate that).
I did feel a tinge of annoyance when the show played Canon in the background to a scene for no real reason, though.

I don't think I'll ever watch that series nor an episode of it. It just seems, well... retarded in a sense. Just doesn't really appeal to me all that much.

Yeah, but no offense, high school drama manga are just about universally shit, so be fucking careful.
Also, decided to start reading Ikaryaku, because I hear that it is either the funniest or least funny manga ever written.

Read the first four chapters, I was suitably impressed.
The story is fucking non-existent, but the art is pleasant enough and the dialogue delivers some good laughs.

I find it funny that you have to act like an unbearable ass over this, given that I've never, ever criticized scanlations before.
Yeah, big fucking deal, it is. Not like Ikaryaku ever stands a chance at getting licensed.

Hah, I'm just joking.
Considering the only manga series I've ever actually finished was a scanlation, I hardly think I'm in a position to criticise anyone.

Reminds me; I need to finish Nausicaa.
I've started reading it twice, and I still haven't finished after owning it for 2 and a half years, or so.

It's just that series are so much more colourful and attention consuming.

I know, I've got the same problem to a degree.
I've read all the manga I currently own several times over, but I haven't bought more. I keep getting distracted by motion-type entertainment.
For can example of how bad this can be, anime-wise, I'm seven discs away from owning all of Ranma 1/2, while manga-wise, I have twnty-six volumes to go.

For me, the reason why I haven't bought more is because they're a huge waste of money.
It's like $35 NZD to buy a volume of a manga that I'd read in an hour.

Jesus.
That's fucking obscene.
I've given up on any manga series that costs me more than $10 a volume.
The cost of books these days is off the fucking charts.

All the manga I've got, I bought for $15 NZD each (with the exception of Nausicaa, which my host family bought me when I was in Japan, and I don't know how much they paid). But that was 3 years ago, prices have clearly gone up since then.
Anime DVDs are usually decently priced, comparatively, but I still don't have enough reason to buy them.

Man, that's awful.
Here, prices have gone down a bit. What used to cost $16+ now outs me around $11.

DVDs are middle-of-the-road to fucking awful price-wise here (except for my many bargain bin finds), so I tend to stick to online shopping for 'em.
Both DVD and manga buying have taken a huge backseat lately to video games and random junk in the past few months.
Although I did receive 15 discs of Ranma 1/2 the other day.
And I have 6 more on the way within the next two or so weeks.
Jesus christ, you guys make it hard to get into the conversation.
