Guess who's back.

I haven't done much in the realm of anime within my absence. I've bought a couple of Haruhi wall scrolls (which I'm currently waiting to arrive), and received a Vaan action figure (which I've positioned nicely on my desk).

I also watched about one episode of Aria, which seems to be better if you watch it spaced out.

I've been watching more regular television lately. I've started watching shows like Life on Mars, Extras, Psych, Dirty Sexy Money and Pushing Daisies (a couple of which I'm probably going to give up, since they're rather unimpressive), and continued watching House (I'm annoyed at it, since Cameron came back).

So yeah, I'm back from my holiday. Did you miss me?

The final volume of season seven cost me $20 after shipping, nearly as much as I had paid for ALL of season six.

The only English version I know exists is a scanlation by a group called "The Band of Hawks" or something like that.

A great deal of the sex scenes, both consentual and rape.

Pretty much all the NC-17 version has left in it is the violence and some of the more "tasteful" bits of sexual content.

Naruto is a good way to get into anime. It is this generation's Pokemon or Dragon Ball Z. However, now that you're interested in the anime pastime, I'm sure that we'llbe able to help you find anime that is better and more entertaining to watch. Everyone here loves Black Lagoon, so be sure to check it out. Personally, I would also recommend Gurren Lagann. By starting out with these two shows, you can decide if you want to pursue more action titles,or if not, then you can explore a different anime genre.

On an unrelated note, I recently started watching the Shugo Chara! anime. I think I'll try out the manga, too.

I just damned in love in Kaikan Phrase, nice story about /\ucifer and their songwriter Aine. I love the storyline and /\ucifer's songs. Love it. Especially, this episode.

Not gonna lie to you, it's Gainax, so the animations gonna be a little spotty sometimes.

The only Gainax thing I've actually seen is Magical Shopping Arcade Abenobashi; and that's only the first three or four episodes.

Sakura Media is an otaku haven. I got myself Jojo's Bizarre Adventure volume 1 from there for 8 dollars. GOD DAMN I LOVE ASIANS! Sadly, they don't have Revy there at the moment, but they shall. I'll assume atleast two weeks. This place had Lupin III manga, and fuckloads of Gundam/Macross model kits. God, I wanna go back and buy j-pop, and lots of shit. I couldn't locate the wallscrolls probably because I was overwelmed by the raging awesome by the whole store. I will go there again and again.
