The title reminds me of that shitpile as well,

Although, it's ending credits did have Exit Music by Radiohead. Possibly the only good portion of anything throughout the film.

Can someone reccommend me some nice bloody, war anime? Because Animax and TVTokyo is showing Shoujos all the time.

Goddammit, you lucky devil...

I haven't seen any decent bargain-price anime around these parts lately, and I really want to finish Baki the Grappler.

This shit has gotten so fucking confusing with you jackasses choosing random ass titles for yourselves, I can't keep track of it anymore.

I don't remember if Kuro is still an authority figure in this club or not but from what I can recollect the hierarchy chain falls thus.

Wonko
Tink[grandma doesn't have a good computer she said]
Mendou
Shin[self proclaimed possition/guess it works]
Mr-Trivia
ProtoBassX[Not posted in a year though]
Noctroler
Myself

Again, don't remember if Kuro is still one, Gendo as well. ShadowGodX is long gone as well. So much for the club flash you two were working on Wonko.

Not happening.

In other news, my continuing musical battle has forced me to branch out into Scandinavian Death Metal. I swear, that guy has a Schroedinger's Country Music Stars thing , they just keep appearing.

Also, it turns out that Einherjer has a really interesting Cradle of Filth meets Rammstein meets Metallica with special guest stars The London Philharmonic Orchestra sound going on.

More also-ness, I think I have a compulsive reading thing. Someone introduced me to the webcomic Questionable Content, and I read through the entire goddamn archive. You people don't even want to know how many times I've read through this entire thread because I was bored. At lest, that was until I found that alcohol is the cure to my OCD.

As for the club flash that ShadowGodX and I were working on, the script got lost two laptops ago for me.

It's obviously an adaptation of the play, albeit with liberties taken for allowing a single play to translate smoothly to an entire television series.

Not really, all I've done is re-watch Black Jack and Beautiful Dreamer.

My next big anime fix (the first three seasons of Ranma 1/2, the first of Maison Ikkoku and all of Ninja Nonsense) isn't due to arrive until mid-December.

As to why I'm bothering to re-buy seasons one and two of Ranma, I've decided to pass on my old copies to a friend and the new thin-paks were on for a mere $29.95 a pop the other day.

Yes.

is to be giving you the first two seasons of Maison Ikkoku? Hope he does, I NEED SOMEONE ELSE TO BE OBSESSED WITH THE SHOW WITH ME.

He bitched out and only bought season one because he's saving funds for Anime North next year.

Oh well, he plans on purchasing the rest of the series for me next year as thanks for running NS /A/.

Cheaper and smaller, not bad. Honestly those box sets take up way too much space.

Not to mention I'm praying for kick-awesome new art on the disc boxes.

Speaking of clunky box sets.....

The reissues aren't exactly convenient either.

Two of those chunky multi-fold boxsets = DO NOT WANT

Regardless, I need to buy Gundam Wing eventually....

Oh well, still got the first season at least. Good season, and it introduces a good numer of the characters( unlike Ranma where it took 3 seasons just to introduce Ukyo)

I THINK I KNOW WHAT HAPPENS IN THE FIRST SEASON

SEEING AS I READ THE MANGA AND YOU DO NOT

Well thats very kind of him.

He is the king of ludicrously kind gestures.

Would it be too much...if they included some extras on the disk's for once?

It's Viz.

Viz hate the fans.

The only DVDs that get extras are the Critic's Choice ones (like Saikano), and they often come with entire extra discs of bonus junk.

Shit.....well it can be a pain to properly package a 49 episode series

Yep.

I wish Bandai would cease making those chunky plastic boxes with the disc-holding flaps, they're so easy to break.

I have no choice, there cheaper.

Not to mention the only version in print.

As do i, last time i watched an episode was back in 2001.

I re-watched Endless Waltz (both the OVA version and the movie) a few months ago.

As for the show itself, last time I saw an episode was last June.

You should consider yourself lucky to have such an ace pal.

I certainly do.

Well i hate them.

Viz does not care.

Viz will get your money anyway.

Robotech the protoculture collection is a box set that i can think of, that has the most worthless extras i have ever seen.

The extras weren't worthless, there were just far too many and some of them were just plain better than others.

Yikes, i'll need to be carefull then.

I decimated Adam's copy of Scrapped Princess last NS /A/ meeting. It pretty much shattered under my foot (since SOME IDIOT left a whole bag of DVDs on the floor).

He was surprisingly unconcerned, especially when I demonstrated how the flaps bash the discs off each other and that the DVDs would be much safer in their own individual cases.

FUUUUUUUUUCK.

Yep, that was the point of the reissue.

Economy-size packaging doesn't always work better.

I think iv only watched the film version before.

You're not missing much, the three OVAs are shorter than the movie and lack a few of the better scenes.

We got some catching up to do.

Damn straight.

Luckily for me, NS /A/'s 2008 schedule includes Gundam Wing.
