I'll make time to watch a couple episodes tomorrow.

Also, someone told me about Mahou Shoujotai today... anyone here heard of it? If you have, is it worth the watch?

It's 5 again, the air is thin.

If you're going to attempt to correct someone's post (in whatever ironic way you were going for), at least try and spell properly, and use correct language:

"importaint" (important) "resimay" (resume) "gainning" (gaining) "aceing" (acing).

Correct punctuation would also be a plus:

"for several reasons, like for example being able..." (for several reasons like, for example, being able...)

Overall, that was just generally poorly written.

Woo, never knew there was an Anime club. Anyhow, am here now. :P
So I'll start with naming a few short series I love: Shinobuden 2x2, Elfen lied, Paranoia Agent, Grenadier and Oruchuban Ebbichu.

So whats happening?

At least remember my name.

I just wish I could find a dubbed version of it

From what I saw, I preferred the subbed voices.

The dub's okay though.

I took out the stuff that sucked.

Seriously, Elfen Lied and Grenadier? They're horrid shitpiles.

Everything else you mentioned was good, though. Bonus points for Ebichu and 2x2 Shinobuden, painfully underrated comedies deserve more credit than they get.

Well, I'm once again attempting to re-watch the Hellsing TV series and I'm already losing the will to finish it. I really dig the dark and quirky drama of the early episodes, but the horribly inconsistent animation and ridiculous amount of made-up/poorly adapted plot points are getting really fucking grating....after a mere three episodes.

If only they worked harder on staying true to the manga and possibly allowed it to run for an extra season or two. It could have been so much better, not to mention the fact the music blows Ultimate's so-so score out of the fucking water.

It is, but I want to give it another go since it's one of the two horror series I actually own/enjoy.

Not to mention I want to give episodes 4-7 a watch again because they were actually pretty damn good for the show's standards.

at least we still got the tiny bits of the OVA's and manga.

True dat, yo.

I'll likely re-watch Hellsing III tomorrow, since Shane (who hasn't yet seen it in its entirety) will be over to prepare for Anoween and such.

SHIIIIIIIIIIIIINE.

Hate that fucking song.

It's the only bit of music in the series I did not enjoy. The one edge I'll giv Ultimate in the music department is the superior ending themes.

Yes, not to mention the Valentine bros and a decent original story arc.

Oh, totally.

yeah

Write a sentence or two about those anime you just listed(why you like them)

Paranoi Agent - Unique. There really isn't a second series like it. Even the music differs from anything else Iäve listened to. The plot is pretty complex and serious.

2x2=Shinobuden - The funniest series I've ever watched, it's funnier than Azumanga Daioh and Excel Saga and Puni Puni Poemi too, in my opinion. Also, it's about Ninjas, and I love ninjas.

Orochuban Ebichu - Another hillarious anime featuring a hamster as the pet character. Second most funny thing I've seen. And it's unique as well.

Grenadier - Well I suppose this isn't that special, but it's one of the first series I've watched so I remember it will. Great music and great plot. Lots of action.

Elfen Lied - Very brutal and bloody series, but also has a great plot. The story is sad, well animated and it's pretty unique as well.

. . . One Piece is my favorite series though. It's funny, filled with suspense, emotion, and I love piracy. :P

What animes don't you like?

Lets see . . . ones that I've seen are Touch and Mariasama ga Miteru ( sorry if i misspelled that ).
They're just boring, very boring.

What got you into anime?

A friend introduced me to Naruto and Evangelion about 5 years ago. After that I quickly surpassed him in anime knowledge.

It's not that serious.

It has a reasonable amount of humour to it.

Either way, one of the greatest series' of all time.

2x2=Shinobuden - The funniest series I've ever watched, it's funnier than Azumanga Daioh and Excel Saga and Puni Puni Poemi too, in my opinion. Also, it's about Ninjas, and I love ninjas.

I'm still wondering why Puni Puni Poemi is banned in New Zealand.

I watched some of it; it hardly encouraged sexual exploitation of minors.

Elfen Lied - Very brutal and bloody series, but also has a great plot. The story is sad, well animated and it's pretty unique as well.

A couple of people are going to hate you for that.

I didn't like the episode I watched, but I didn't despise it.

But the reasons people cite for liking it have made me grow to hate it.

I love piracy. :P

DON'T TALK ABOUT PIRACY IN THIS CLUB!

Oh wait.

I suppose you're in, then.

Because these kids today are so used to being handed everything that they can't get off their mama's tit and start to think for themselves.

My excuse is that I've consumed so much alcohol that I don't have enough brain meats left to think for myself.

Mob mentality rules the world, or so it seems. Individual thought would be really nice to see from time to time.
