Oh! I didn't understand what you meant at first. Thats pretty sweet, don't you just love the fact when they have only just started a anime in dub that your friends are only on like episode 2 or so and your on like episode 20+? I love the fact that -if I wanted too. - I could spoil the entire anime for them.

I've improved a Ton since I first signed up, i'm slowely growing.

That had nothing to do with this discussion, seemed like a cheap shot at me actually.

It does, if you post a lot you get a lot of BBS expirence, obviously! Also it was more of me pointing out your awesomeness on the BBS rather than a attempt to hurt you.

Or....do you even own any anime or manga, you took the time to post why im wrong, so why not something so simple like posting a few of the stuff you own?

I do own some, I mainly watch anime illegally(Mendou, gendo and Kuro SHOULD have somewhat of a idea as to what i'm talking about.) But there are several mangas and animes that i own, rather from unable to find it my illegal way or it was a present from friends/family.

I'm not putting it any spefic order.

Anime;

First four seasons of bleach.
Second season of tsubasa chronicles.
Both seasons of Fma.
Every episode of CCS.
All three seasons of rurouni kenshin.
All 6 Samurai X OVAs.
Kenshin movie.
fma movie.
Reborn.
Love Hina.
Excel Saga.
Hellsing
Hellsing OVAS.
Saiyuki reload.
Last exile.
DN angel.
First season of inyuyasha.
Second season of yu-yuhakashow.
Rozen Maiden.
Spiral.
Haruhi S.
First few seasons of One piece.
Cobow Bebob.

I might have missed one or two.

I don't keep track of my mangas that well. Its mainly just read, like it put it in my cellar in case i ever wanna expirence nostalgia, don't sell it online.

But if I could give a general guess as to how many mangas i own I would guess around 25-30.

He's on top of the world of course.

You're not a very wise person, are you?

First four seasons of bleach.

Are not legally available on DVD outside Japan yet.

Not even the first season is entirely out.

Second season of tsubasa chronicles.

See above.

That's really fucking lame.

If you only own like 25-ish, then it shouldn't pain you to remember what series they are.

I also have the first two volumes of Nausicaa in Japanese.

I'd buy more mangas (I kinda want the next ARIA, but only the first 3 were released by ADV, so even if I did extend on my reading of it it'd still feel incomplete), but every time I go to the store which I can, it seems to be closed for a lunch break or something, and the other one seems to have disappeared, or moved to where I can't find it.

Also they seem to mostly stock Tokyopop.

They always manage to end up in some other place than that though.

Though I wouldn't buy it.

It doesn't seem like it would have a WHOLE lot of rewatchability.

Also, I didn't like the ending.

----------------

I'm still deciding whether or not buying a series would be worth it (if it wasn't cheap).

I mean, with buying a movie I'm much more likely to sit down and watch that again, than to sit down and watch a series.

I suppose it depends which one, though.

The release order in North America is Trust & Betrayal (both parts of each), then Reflection.

The two OVA series were edited into "Director's Cut" films, hence despite there being six seperate parts to the series originally, they are more commonly known as two feature-length OVAs.

Ebay has everything then apparently.

eBay is LOADED with bootlegs and pirated DVDs.

Unless it is in Japanese without subtitles (a.ka. the legit Region 2 release) or has an official Region 1 release, then it is most likely a bootleg.

At 10/18/07 03:33 PM, Mendou wrote: Were not perfect. but were pretty damn close.

Cocky hypocrite, try this sentence next time;

"We're not perfect, but we're pretty damn close."

Learn to correct your own spelling and grammar before telling others to do so.

In bootleg form.

Who the hell cares if it is in bootleg form or not?!

No fuck off if you think a shit series like that is worth a watch let alone a purchase.

1.) Everyone is entitled to their own opinion.
2.) I got it a long time ago when I had no good taste in anime, I keep it just for reminiscing every now and then.
3.) You criticize my spelling, yet you seem to forget your Commas all the time. How ironic.
4.) Its a anime club, there are no rules stating that people who have different tastes in anime than yourself are prohibited from joinning.

Spelling is important because it makes you look less stupid, of course we support good grammar.

Amazing vocabulary! 'Stupid', 'because', 'good'. Wow, you must be a genius! Next time try this sentence instead;

"Proper spelling and grammar are importaint for several reasons, like for example being able to fill out a report, resimay, etc. correctly, which could affect your chances of gainning, losing or keeping a job or failing and aceing a school project. Proper spelling and grammar also helps you look like you have a much greater intellect than those without."

Learn the knowledge to enhance your vocabulary, grammar and content of your sentences before bashing others to do so.

Your sentence is also sort of split. At first your saying spelling is importaint and it makes people look smarter when used correctly, yet in the second part your saying you support grammar. So in other words your basically stating "Good spelling is importaint because it helps you look smarter, I support grammar!"

You're not supposed to fucking mention bootlegs ever, and talking about obvious bootlegs is not to be done.

If you owned a bootleg of a series that actually has a proper release, but did not mention it's a bootleg, I doubt anyone would care...but obvious bootlegs are another story.

You're clearly not paying attention.

You continually pick fights with Mendou (who last time I checked is the club's leader), you do not actualy use perfect spelling and grammar (seriously, Mendou isn't perfect, but you're no language master) and you've mentioned illegal activities on countless occassions.

The second-chances are over. Cease these behaviours or leave.

I'll stop talking about illegal activities.

If you didn't notice, EVERY TIME I forget a letter or make a small spelling/grammar mistake, mendou jumps on my case. He would reply to me, not even talking about the subject I was talking about just to point my mistakes out. So I have decided to mirror his actions, doing exactly what he does to me. Unless he stops waylaying me for every spelling and grammar mistake, I refuse to stop acting like a smartass and I WILL correct every mistake he makes.

After all him correcting me isn't picking a fight yet when I correct him it is? Bullshit.

Don't look at it through mendous eyes, look at it through mine. He picks the fights, not me. Now that I am doing what he has done constantly to me I should be kicked out? There is zero logic in that, it is simply being self-centered.

If mendou keeps being a smart ass to me, i'm going to be a smartass back. As simple as that, a eye for a eye.

Seeing this thread clouded with your posts is really starting to annoy me. I enjoy great conversations with other members, or some conversations including me....you are the ONLY thing I do not like about this, and it's because every single motherfucking post you post is just waahhhh over and over. I don't know nor care if everybody here hates you, but if they do, then get the fuck over it and get along with your damn life, rather than trying to make them like you. You're just making it worse.

Then when you obviously have lost the fight you have started, you try and get back on topic. It just repeats itself....picked fight, waaaahhhhh not perfect, oh noes you made fun of me, ok so how about that latest anime? Hang yourself, please.

Oh, and guys who recommended Boogiepop....I just can't get over how awesome it is. I haven't finished it due to time constraints, but I love it very much so far. I just wish I could find a dubbed version of it, because sometimes reading gets a bit confusing....my town sucks as for selling any series at all, and the internet comes up with nothing either....and that doesn't mean I want one of you guys to link me to a site ;D :P.
