So it's like Death Note, but it takes itself even MORE seriously?

Very clever.

An even more uber-serious version of Death Note minus the whole "murder mystery" (I use this loosely due to the sheer lack of mystery in DN) appeal and with a religious twist?

Pass.

Seriously though, I can't wait to see if there's going to be any legal action against Lifetime....maybe finally that horrible channel will be taken off of the air...lol.

Don't hold your breath on that one, sonny.

It would be pretty funny if Tsugumi Ohba does sue the network, but it's extremely unlikely.

Just blew sixty bucks on a Revy action figure (I'm officially convinced my Black Lagoon fanboyism has reached critical status) and another statue (Maggie Mui from R.OD.) with pricy shipping (the site I got 'em from has limited options and I want this order to arrive FAST).

Tomorrow I plan on picking up where I left off on Mad Bull 34, since it seems to get better (or worse, depending on how much you like exploitative trash) as it goes on.

With all this assorted anime memorabilia you seem to by, I can only imagine what your room/house looks like.

A nightmarish mess of empty boxes and toys.

Actually, despite my sheer volume of otaku junk, the mess/clutter is minimal. I've got everything nicely organized on shelves in my basement.

Amazing.

I have a reasonably small amount of stuff in my room, and yet it all manages to be outside of any place that it should be in.

Though I have very little otaku crap in my room, aside from a couple of posters (about half a dozen Nausicaa ones that I got for free, and a Rurouni Kenshin wall hanging that somebody decided was a good present), a couple of mangas of which I can never find and a fox-squirrel soft toy.

And a bunch of old playstation games scattered around everywhere, if you can count them.

Yep, I have around 18 small shelves for my manga and DVDs, plus two large ones for the statues and their empty boxes (seriously, I keep empty boxes).

All I've got in my bedroom is a few old mangas from the 90s, two artbooks (Death Note and FMA), a few posters and some Playstation games. That said, my bedroom is a horrid mess compared to the basement.

Stacks of drawings, magazines and clothing everywhere...

Win.

Isn't it always?

When it's your own space then you can never bother to clean it.

Win.

Came with my collection of the comics.

Though my favourite anime memorabilia is my fox-squirrel.

Yeah but then I'll have my mother bugging me as to what to watch all day. Her fill of Golden Girls and The Nanny is unquenchable, christ.

Seriously, watch Potemayo, Darker than Black, Seto no Hanayome & Doujin Work. All are very good series. I'm also watching[fucking obviously] Gurren Lagann, still Bleach as well seeing how next episode will get back on track.

As to Potemayo, please refer to this image here.

I was going to watch Black Lagoon earlier this year but my computer decided to take a ragging shit all over it's self whilst force feeding it's own.

You know, we should take pictures of our rooms and show them to each other for lulz. I'll do what I can if my web camera or my sisters will cooperate with me.

It's Ninja Nonsense (English Title). It's an okay absurdest comedy anime, but if you like your anime with a story line, this isn't for you. It basically follows the story of a young "ninja" in training, and a high school girl. Together, they spend each episode in randomness and insanity. Again, this is an absurdest-comedy anime, so it's good for a couple of laughs. But most of the time it leaves you in WTFs.

I often wonder what it would be like if someone were to collect all the animes and make one show with all of them. But the tricky part would be collecting them. Dont worry though I found the perfect guy for the job,...Katamari! (This is only a joke Im sorry for picture spamming you really dont have to pay it any mind...really)

His name is The Prince, Katamari is the name of the ball.

Man, I really wanna bolt downstairs and play Katamari Damacy right now....

Failed joke aside, the whole "mixing all animes together" idea would likely suck. Mostly because, in my horridly biased opinion, the vast majority of anime is awful and nigh unwatchable.

Great rationalisation....

Despite what some of my (and select other users) behaviour shows, this place is not 4chan. We're a group for the painfully serious discussion of the artistic and social merits of the wondeful genre of animation that the young parsons refer to as "Japanime", not an image board.

Dude I said Katamari cause it's THE NAME OF THE GAME...

So? The game is not a person, it cannot perform abitrary tasks. A person would need to round up all the anime characters, not a DVD-Rom for the Playstation 2 Entertainment System...

You clearly don't have any idea how that's actually the other way around.

I take it you really, really suck at detecting sarcasm or general lacks of seriousness, because my last response was loaded with them.

You, sir, are the humourless twat. You cannot form a joke to save your life, nor do you know one when you see it.
