Gainax made the right decision about Gurren Lagann's animation style as well. It brings you back to the days of traditional animation styles with only CG used for colouring (most likely)\, unlike Sunrise and Go Nagai (damn) lately.

The only way it wouldn't be a violation is to talk about the ways it should be made into an anime. Sarah could be any strong willed, full figured anime girl. Man..Astro Boy is kind of a dark series. Little Kid getting killed, then his father is determined to bring him back through a robotic substitute. Later he sells him to a circus because he just can't replace the real son or something I think. Reminds me of a Twighlight Zone episode. That was a creepy show.
