Typhoons hit Okinawa yesterday. It's still here. Power went out. Watched a lot of The Irresponsible Captain Tylor. The OVA is different from the series. Ru Baraba Dom isn't all calm and collected, like the badass he was before. It's a lot more angsty too.

Only thing i don't like are some of the occasional requirements to win a fight(survive the fight until time runs out or use certain ninja tools 3 times or more) Some of them were a little difficult but most were not all to bad.

It doesn't seem too different from Jump Super/Ultimate Stars, though they are mostly bonuses.

Besides, Tomy is not eactly known for their expertise in standalone games without a second franchise to market it.

Knowing Japan, I can only answer with both yes and no at the same time.

They probably did work hard on the game, but added troublesome rules to make it appear longer-lasting because the key audience is geared not to gamers, but to fans of Naruto.
