Yeah, I watched the whole thing.

I remeber seeing one of the episodes (of the OVA, I believe) and I was wondering how good the rest of the series is?

meh...not that good, but not bad.

Well I finally finished watch the Irresponsible Captain Tylor OVA. It was pretty good and they even made some of the shows out of order...sort of. Like during an episode they would go from where another episode to started to where it ended at. Makes plenty of sense when you watch it.

The ending was just as open as the series too.

Though both endings were nice, and surprising.

Oh, and you really don't need to post saying you aren't interested in something. Not talking about it says you aren't interested. And if you aren't interested in something, then it is a given that you aren't going to check it out.

Oh hey, look, you're actually starting to do something as an authority figure. I thought there must have been a reason the others promoted you. Took you long enough to show it.

I've done plenty in here. I was the first one to bring up the change from 5 animes to 10 for the anime list. That was even before I was an authority figure. I discussed with the others about our new joining system. I've given the joining requirements to some new people and asked others if they wanted to join. I've also tried to keep posting new stuff or start a conversation. And have systematically added pages to the club by posting large pictures with my messages, which subconsciously makes others more prone to posting pictures. Cus who wants to be part of a club that doesn't have the most active pages?

I'm just a nice guy, so I don't usually come down on people, unlike HaroFreak or Gendo.

No it's not, i own that game and hate it.

I concur. "Robotech: The Macross Saga" for the Game Boy Advance is a bitch and a half. I've tried all of the starting characters at least three times, and I can't get any of them to survive the first level. The only two things that make it tolerable are:
1.) It works with the Nintendo DS Lite, so I didn't have to go out and buy another portable system.
2.) It came with a free mini-figure; a chibi VF-1A in Battloid mode

If you want a good Robotech game, I would suggest either "Robotech: Battlecry" or "Robotech: Invasion" for the PlayStation 2. However, I'm currently stuck on the second level of Invasion - some guy with a bazooka keeps killing my wingman before I can get him in my sights.

Tylor is a pretty complicated character. Sometimes it seems he doesn't really care what happens, sometimes he is super optimistic, and rarely he actually acts like a Captain. His crew is awesome though. I like Mr. Yamamoto...though that might just be from the OVA.

I say cheat and enter SUPERCYC to get invincibility (if at least for the one level)! If God of War had cheat codes it would be so nice, cus the 2nd stage of the final boss is annoying.

Damn straight, "Battlecry" was awesome and "Invasion" can be fun despite its difficulty.

Good, good.

One of my all-time favorite anime series.

Also, Lupin III: Return of The Magician is ungodly awesome. One of the finest pieces of Lupin kickassery I've seen in a while (even though the CGI was crap).

I did a quick skim of one of the episodes, to check the subtitles. Is there a special order to watching them? Like is the OVA before the series chronologically, but was produced afterwards or something? Or does it not really matter?

It's actually two OVA series, both covering part three of the manga.

Episodes 8-13 were produced first (in 1993) and covers the Egypt arc all the way up to "Dio's World" (the end of part three). Episodes 1-7 were produced in 2001 and cover the early chapters of part three.

Because nobody ever uses a word in a colloquial manner to describe something's general awesomeness.

Actually, 80% is more accurate, since after that you can usually not stop from going up to %100. What is really funny is when someone doesn't know they've Awakened. Such subtle humor to this series.

It's the backtalk he probably doesn't like, since he can't electronically back-hand your insolence. And also

Argue: To put forth reasons for or against.

Which is what questioning a complaint is.

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure is taking a lot longer now to get. I did order the Narutimate Hero 4 game the other day, but that'll take 5-10 days to get.

I LOL'd.

I don't really see where arguing a point once is back-talk, but whatevs, I won't do it again.

Suck it up, some of us are forced to wait ages for stuff to ship.

Which reminds me, I've got some ordering to do and I'm greatly considering importing Narutimate Hero 3.

As long as you can play Japanese games on your PS2, which I would assume you can, then go right ahead. It did improve from the 2nd game, though at first I wasn't a fan of the change. In the 2nd, you could do a level 1, 2, and 3 special during battle (you have 3 level energy bar, so you could do three level 1s, and 1 and a 2, etc...), but in the 3rd, you only get to do one special, so you have to change it before the battle to use different ones.

I was first annoyed, cus of the limited amount of specials in a battle, but after time I preferred it, since new players or annoying players couldn't just spam the level 1s unless they went out of their way to change their specials. Also the Second Version of people are cool, and some stuff looks cooler, like Kankuro's Chakra strings that attach to his puppet.

Hopefully the 4th will be better. It apparently has Awakened Ougis (specials) that are stronger than normal specials and are only activated under certain conditions.

Always fun to not tell someone how to switch on the lvl 50 option for characters, so you are lvl 50 and they are level 0 and do little damage to you.

Interesting gameplay change.

Sounds cool, I may order it.
