Apparently a very, very, very deep one. With little light and connection to the outside world.

Not even remotely funny.

Seven word post.

Maybe you should be like most of the other people here, and read through pages that you miss. Considering that one page back I commented on Ultimate Ninja being Narutimate Hero.

Gankutsuou: The Count of Monte Cristo vol. 1 (FLAWLESS)

Is the plot of Count of Monte Cristo along the same lines of the 2002 movie?

Also, I knew that he would probably tell me the definition of "esoteric" in his next post.

It's a bit more of a re-imagined version of the original novel, so not really.

Pokemon Red was a pretty awesome game and Pokemon Pinball was tough.

Ikusagami was a fun game, though it had a anime opening, it wasn't an anime game. I think it might come out here as Demon Chaos.

It would be cool to see an OVA of it, though having 65,000+ creatures to animate could be tricky and would probably just result in a big blob with some bumps for heads. If they could get the scale down it might be cool to see a large War Dog God taking down thousands of enemies in a matter of moments.

Did someone mention drills? How awesome! Cus it leads into Gurren Lagann!

Episode 14 is out and awesome! Lots of sweet drilling, Nia pointing to the heavens (with some shadowy upskirt), and a ginormous Ganmen appearing at the end.

GURREN LAGANN AND GAOGAIGAR SPOILERS!!!

Episode 15 will be great too, kind of reminds me of GaoGaiGar, when the series is about halfway over when they defeat the supposed "main" bad guy, though episode 1 hinted at Simon going against an entire dimensional government.

END O SPOILERS

First, don't talk about watching episodes online.

Second, do you mean the next season or movie in which Naruto dies? Looks that way in the next movie, though I doubt he will really die. There was even a filler episode called The Death of Naruto. Of course, if a movie isn't canon, then they could kill him for real and not have it affect the series.

Third, if you are mainly into Naruto, then there is a Naruto Club...since apparently a majority of the most frequent posters do not like the series.

Fourth, do you want to join the club?

And Fifth!

Since I'm way to lazy and tired to read through the past pages.

I'm finding it hard to continue watching Bleach these days. The quality has turned serious QUALITY and possibly the shittiest animation I've seen in YEARS. Oh god, that last episode was so fucking terrible it makes a man just want to pull out his eyes and shove them into wood chipper.

But the third Hellsing OVA will fix that in the morning.

Not too bad, $4.06 short of $1,000 on this last two week pay check. Working at a Burger King kinda pays off. I guess.

There is the entire Narutimate Hero series, the RPG series for the GBA/DS as well as several platformers for the same handhelds. There is also the Narutimate Hero for PSP.

NO. Online leftovers are inferior and maybe not even worth its price compared to convention prices.

Comiket this August 17th to 19th at the Tokyo Big Sight. Anyone going there better tell me quickly so I can make preparations and see some of you from NG/A/ in person.

Ghost in the Shell: Solid State Society hits store shelves on DVD today. Is anyone else going to rush out and buy it? I just ordered the $35 Widescreen Limited Edition for $12.99 on BestBuy.com.

Lord God, horrid. Nothing kills a series like QUALITY.

Indeed it will, it has some of the finest animation I've seen in years.

Do realize that 90% of us do not have the money or means to attend the grander conventions such as Comiket, we're pretty much stuck with ordering online.

Not to mention if you really bother to look, you can find some excelent Haruhi merch for very cheap.

Dream on, there. I'd love to go, but I honestly doubt anyone but you (our possibly Wonko) will attend.

Maybe you will see Konata there! Ha!

And Gurren Lagann was licensed by ADV Films on June 30th. Not sure how to feel about this, since ADV is a good company...but being licensed has some problems.

Though I don't think ADV is as annoying as Viz when it comes to...certain things.

Youtube chooses the screenshot to make the thumbnail for videos, and it was amazing that the one they chose for this video was the less than a second Nia upskirt shot.

Pffft, ADV is one of the few decent companies out there. They've given us good dubs in the past and offer helpful things like translation notes, not to mention sexy packaging design.

Nice nonspecific complaint.

Viz flat-out sucks anime-wise, they've not got many series licensed and most of the ones they do have are either.....

A) Bad
or
B) Good, but given horrid dub cast and/or inaccurate translation

I trust ADV's judgement more than any other 'dubbing company' to record. I actually enjoyed their dubs of "Full Metal Panic!" and "RahXephon" the second time around (the first being with original language, of course).

Though I don't think ADV is as annoying as Viz when it comes to...certain things.

Just about anything.

And I'm not just referring to censorship and voice casting either. Even if a typical american TV show has a 30 second intro for consistency, they keep an opening as intact as they can (with exception to altering text credits to fit the language).

Ah, Tokko is great. Ani-Mondays are great. Macross Plus is great. Seriously though, I was watching the commercials and they have a Highlander anime. What is that about? The movie wasn't enough? And I guess that Solid State Society is the third season of Ghost in the Shell. Hope to see that on Adult Swim sometime soon.

Touche!

Though I think cosplaying as her won't work well...with the really long blue hair. The rest would be simple, with just a schoolgirl outfit and a beauty mark.

Of course, the easiest cosplay around today would be an SOS Brigade member, since all you would need is the arm band. Even Haruhi isn't that tough to do. Mikuru, however, may be a little difficult for Japanese girls.

Kyon is better anways...
