"What the shit" at lineup.

Couldn't they have just pulled what the "Manga" did for "Top wo Nerae!", by simply adding subtitles and airing/releasing it as it is?

I mean come on; it's only 6 episodes of mecha action (with the kill count rising exponentially per episode, typical badass Gainax days) each.

YTV is full of mainstream failure and Eureka Seven, which is the polar opposite of mainstream failure.

No, this is Canadian kids' TV. Children in this country can't read for shit.

Subbed anime never has and never will be aired here. Because of that, airing schedules get delayed constantly due to passing America's airings (we were ahead of them in Bleach for like two weeks, then went back to episode one and we're still enduring re-runs) or running out of dubbed episodes to broadcast.

I feel bad just for being in need to be reminded of airing standards in the west, but crap happens, much like the big crap that left a horrible stench which killed off a mass potential fanbase.

That crap is none other than the collective pile of censorship companies and licence-whores who function by the rules set by irresponsible parenthood. And on top of the le-shite, ladies and gentlemen, is known as 4Kids.

I told you to tread lightly if you are to post here again because of the situation.

Fuck you, get out, now.

You have a shitty excuse for all of your countless fuck-ups, and I've had enough.

Unless you plan to pick up your socks and quit causing me grief, you can leave.

No, I want you overall to become a worthwhile poster.

Actually fucking discuss current topics with some regularity, stop asking so many stupid questions ("Who's seen this?", "Any info about this?", shit like that), quit posting bullshit, quit posting excuses to defend the bullshit.

You've got a long hard road ahead of you to redemption.

Gendo I seriously don't know what to ask right now. Enlighten me on what kinds of questions are acceptable here.

Questions that require at least moderate intelligence to ask.

In other words, stuff that hasn't been discussed recently and things that a five-second Google search can't answer.

You can ask for suggestions or for opinions on a topic that requires some thought (like starting a debate), but keep "Who's seen this? or "I need info on this..." out of the club.

Especially these kinds of question, if I may add.

I can make a good bet that all (including myself) of the members of NG/A/ have no constant connections with major publishers, producers, staff or associates to animation/art/comic companies or groups that produce related materials relevant to this club's main focus. As a result, questions such as "I need information on this or that" are excessive unless internet searches prove useless (and that you have tried several times before only to return empty-handed).

But yes, there are questions which only some specialists can answer, and that is what me, Gendo and some of the other big-posters are for while keeping your questions worth answering to us*.

* I am sure that we do not want to shun members out of spite, but step out of line and you'll be victim of a shitstorm very quickly. You have been warned before several times, so watch your choice of words and behave yourself as you post on this thread.

Yeah, trust me, if I had insider info on all the hottest anime and manga series, I'd gladly share.

This club is not your personal Wikipedia, remember that.

As long as I do not get my hands chopped off or my memory erased (Hokuto Shinken reference), I am happy to share the information for bragging rights go to those with the information in this case.

I do, though it seemed too recent to do it again.

Like Guy and Might Guy?

Cyborg Link against a Kamen Rider and Bruce Lee crossover?
It's been established that Cyborg/Evoludar Guy wins by default.

Oh! What about Voltron vs. Death Scythe Hell Custom?

Maybe we should do some Super Robot fights. Like Gunbuster vs. Genesic GaoGaiGar...though I wouldn't mind some GaoGaiGar vs. Gurren Lagann cus of the drills. Never seen Getter, so I couldn't really comment on that drill bot. Or how about Sousuke vs.
Heero Yui in the gundams of your choosing?

Damnit...my friends are watching Deathnote...and I really don't feel like watching it. I already know the main plot points/twists.

Though talking about it did lead to an interesting question:

How many/what animes have "bad guys" for the main character? That was brought about when talking about Light. I really wouldn't mind seeing an anime with an Uberpowerful villian trying to take over a galaxy or something. He could even be like Light and do bad things for good reasons...

He, of course, would have to be super arrogant, egotistical, but always the gentleman.

Talk about whatever you want, as long as it doesn't get off topic, or violate the rules.

Also, you pathetic excuses for human being mislead me.

I'm up to episode 22 of Death Note, and I've been hating it for the past few episodes. It's only because I want to see how this ends that I keep watching it.

Maybe I'll see how Haruhi is. I have that now.

Well I really have no clue what types of anime you like or what your favorite ones are, so I don't know how much you will like it.

Which brings up the question: Is "anime" its own plural? Like Sheep?

Well anyways, I still would suggest Desert Punk to you...cus he is a pessimist, a pervert, brilliant at combat, thinks very practically, and is in a desert, just like Iraq!

Ugh, I hate Dilandau. He's such a fucking emo cry baby bitch. We get it, he's crazy, and a megalomaniac, but do they have to make him look, sound, and act like a total pussy. By the way, the subs on the Escaflowne eps I'm watcbhing are rather shit, I mean it doesn't take an expert at Japanese to notice that "Cheeko" does not translate into "It Stings." Also, I would love to see a person make a cross over, where Alucard from Hellsing totally humiliates Dilandau. It wouldn't take much, but Alucard is just SO fucking badass, that in my own imagination, that if Dilandau; that faggot saw Alucard he would piss, and shit himself, and then spontaneously combust. We still have to take into account the Reals and Hybrids.

But in advance; anything VS Ideon, Ideon either wins or the universe is reset.
