I didn't even realize it was a Ranma joke. But I've only seen the first season.

Mentioning Seinfeld and furries threw me off.
Upon re-reading it, I saw the joke.
Well I decided to rewatch Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz. Considering the last time I saw the series was when it was on cartoon network probably, I forgot lots of the characters that were mentioned...like Tres Kushrenada....as well as most of the plot of the series.
And now some Trivia I learned while searching around for info about some stuff in the movie:
Gundam Wing and GaoGaiGar were both 49 episodes, and Mobile Suit Gundam was 43.
Alviss's guardian ARM A Baoa Qu had inspirations from the Gundam fortress of the same name.
And Nanashi could be Joker from Flames of Recca.
Gundam Wing could probably also be classified as a political thriller, considering all the complicated political stuff.
Finding a picture of Joker wasn't as easy as I thought it would be, so I decided to settle with this.

Oh man, that sucks.
I re-watch parts of the series from time to time, so I never forget.

Much agreed, shitloads of stuff involving angry politicians yelling about stuff and backstabbing plots.
I new GaoGaiGar had dubbing, but this was the first I've seen of it:
Guy's voice wasn't too bad actually. At least it captured the yelling right, though the latin was a little weird.
The Operation Authorized! and GaoGaiGer were a bit much though.

Ugh, I thought Guy's voice was horrendous.
I'm just reading Akira right now, and it's amazing.
I'm done with the first volume, and tomorrow I'm getting the second.
How many of you guys have read Akira?

I have, I own the first three volumes.
Totally amazing manga.
I'm currently watching Deathnote. Rather amazing storyline, and series. I wish I had an ACTUAL DeathNote so I could just off the people who ire myself. But, that would make me the last person to ever obtain a deathnote. Oh well, my twisted little fantasies always have a flaw in them.
George W. Bush was visiting the Vatican, when a man calling him Paladin Alexander Andersson impaled the president through the heart with two large swords.
Well, I can dream.

Hahahaha, oh God, lulz.
Well, I can dream.
We all can.
But seriously, that'd be awesome.
Silent Hill wouldn't make too bad of an anime. It would translate easily from video game to cartoon. Pyramid Head raping monsters and ripping off people's skin, as well as carrying around the giant knife would look cool in a dark and gory anime.
Watched the first episode of Claymore, so now I will be watching the rest.
It is a lot like Rizelmine...in that they both exist.
Claymore - ymo = Clare

That'd be pretty badass.
Just retain the game's writing staff and get some big-name guy to handle the direction, then it'll be solid win.

I NEED TO GET OFF MY ASS AND WATCH THAT!!!

I LOL'd.

Now, honestly, if President Bush died, do you KNOW who would be the Commander in cheif of the US army? Cheney. Imagine shotgun times one billion.

That is officially the greatest thing ever written.
High five.

No matter how many times his name is written, he never dies. Probably should be a written Deathnote rule.
So Adult Swim will start showing Astro Boy...neato!

I saw the book in the store once.
I was thinking about buying it, until I saw the price tag.
It was something ridiculous like 70 bucks for what I think was the first volume.
Kuro - Puting the 'Kur' back in 'inkurable disease.'
Man...Gurren Lagann is so kick ass.
Want the Dai-Gurren to be seaworthy? Just put flippers on the feet and get a paddle!
Want to fly? Combine with an enemy flyer!
Want the Dai-Gurren to fly? Just grab the enemy's flying sphere core!
Also, Viral is becoming even cooler. Very Tres... with deciding not destroy the Gurren Lagann when the enemy was using Yoko as leverage.

You suck for not using the clockless raw I torrented...
Anyway, I love Gurren Lagann. I couldn't bring myself to buy the Haruhi DVDs instead of dloading DVD rips, but rest assured, when Gurren Lagann comes stateside, I will be buying the limited edition or whatever else Bandai (I'd be shocked if they didn't get the license) offers.

Personally, I think Media Blasters put too much emphasis on making the dub version of Guy sound like Hiyama, only to fail both aspects: In terms of similarity, and the amount of 'life' the original Guy has thanks to Hiyama's ever-superior voicing.
The Operation Authorized! and GaoGaiGer were a bit much though.
GAOGAIGRRRRRRRRREAT, more like.

Tsk Tsk Tsk...talking about torrents. And do you work for a group? Cus I don't want to watch some stupid RAW version that I can't fucking understand, even if it doesn't have the clock.
So do you say Ganmen or Gunmen?
Boota is awesome.
At 6/25/07 11:44 AM, KermitTheMuppet wrote: Oh? You can get each volume in french around here for about $10...
You can get them in English here for exactly $10.
Also, Starks, piracy is a do not discuss here. Get a fucking brain.

I go with Ganmen, because it's a pun meaning Face (as individual kanji, or even when put together).
Boota is awesome.
Is that some tasty boar?

There's a slight chance, but most shops sell the English ones by MSRP (which is like $37).
Our local shop has wildly unpredictable prices. Stuff like old manga is strictly $10 a pop (newer stuff, like MPD Psycho, is $12.95), 1/8 scale statues are as cheap as $32.95 and as pricy as $119.99 (most of them are around 20% or so off the MSRP, specifically the Evangelion ones), and the DVDs cost an arm and a leg ($34.95 for one volume of Hellsing? Fuck no.)
At 6/25/07 12:49 PM, Gendo wrote: ($34.95 for one volume of Hellsing? Fuck no.)
That sounds more like the price for the entire boxset in Hong Kong, only twice as expensive.
And it's not like the pricier-but-worth-it DVD releases in Japan, since they usually throw in goodies along with the given high quality (resolution-wise) playback.

And also "Magikarp use Splash Attack!"
I'm sorry I clicked on uhnoesanoob's sig and the thing isn't over yet. I started watching it like 10 minutes ago. And Gary's ringtone is the same ring tone for my home phone!
Go ditto! Oh wait shit.
If I'm correct I haven't seen this in a while. Not a single post in 3 hours? Very peculiar.

The first 2 posts on this page were 2 hrs 51 minutes apart.
I guess everyone is just watching the MagiKarp video and waiting for it to end until they post.
