I don't think I have the tank pre-loader anymore, it was pretty crude anyway. I might make a new logo with the new pre-loader and NG logo. But here's the old club logo for anyone that wants it.

Back in the days when the designer was unable to apply transparency on non-rectangular images, much?

More power to you if you wanna. It saves me from buying flash/photoshop/fireworks and doing all these things myself.

And yes. Other people's misfortune is funny to me. It's what kept me somewhat sane in Iraq.

Flash CS3 can't be that hard to use... Can it? I guess I'll give it a shot this weekend or when I have a chance.

You must go through an interview process to join, an authority figure does this just wait until one shows up.

Ya know what Akatsuki, you seem to be on more than us authority figures, or at least during times when we aren't, so maybe you should do the interviewing stuff as well, to speed things along.

Though HaroFreak and Gendo probably need to voice their opinion on this idea first.

I used to watch it when I was younger. Although those displays of power are memorable, I became extremely attached to the farmer with a shotgun in the first episode. Too bad he didn't make a reappearance.

I used to like it. Back when I was twelve. Now I despise that godsforsaken fecal matter.

I was a huge fan, and I still find some episodes tolerable.

Funniest thing I've ever read.

Also no, there are a few great episodes post-Frieza saga. The only real problem with DBZ was the late series filler and general lameness of the series as a whole.

I liked the return of Emperor Pilaff and Goku becoming a kid again..but that was at the very beginning.

They should have drastically increased the size of the enemies, instead of just their power. It would be cool to see an enemy the size of Earth shooting off a big Ki blast and kid Goku stopping the whole thing with a Kamehameha.

Or take the power levels up a notch, and make the characters strong enough to rip apart space-time itself. Ya know, like a bad guy who destroys entire galaxies and when he and Goku fight they destroy entire planets. Like instead of a character getting thrown into a cliff and it breaking, he gets thrown into a planet that shatters.

Ya know... go bat shit crazy.

Hell why not have the Farmer with a Shotgun accidently making the dragon ball wish and having his shotgun be stronger than SSJ4 Goku's Spirit Bomb.

The nostalgia factor there was off the charts, but even it didn't really go anywhere...

Man, that would have made shit much more interesting.

Fucking lulz.

That would be so awesome.

Fine, time for some softball questions to lob at you...

1. Your five favorite animes and a sentence or two about each of them.

2. What got you into anime?

3. What kinds of anime do you dislike?

Well Dragon Ball is one of my all time favorites. Don't get it confuse with DBZ even do i like it too i enjoy more the arcs in DB.
Shaman King is awesome too. Its one of those animes that had a crappy dub and its underrated.

2. What got you into anime?

I have been watching anime since i was a kid. I guess the first one i can remember is Captain Tsubasa.

3. What kinds of anime do you dislike?

I am not a fan of those animes filled with fan service. It seems like a cheap way to get around putting effort into it. And i guess romance animes.

Xenosaga was good, and the Galerians OVA was major-league kickass (BIRDMAN REPRAZENT!!!).

Also, yesterday I discovered a rather unplesant post from poxpower:

Oh man, that makes me sad, except for the part about FLCL, if that's the last series someone truly enjoyed then they need to watch more anime....badly.

The comics had a good pace to them as they were only twenty or so pages long per chapter, and the animation had some 'good filler' which was fun to watch and made sense as they were continutity of movies.

Because of the age and time the animation was made, stock footage is seen frequently but in acceptable amounts. Besides, that was back when they were experimenting with consistency and going with the progressive rate of the original drawn serialisation in "Shonen Jump!".

I saw Naruto the Movie: Ninja Clash in the Land of Snow last night, and it kicked ass. The movie within the movie was pretty good, too. The behind-the-scenes feature after the credits is what really made it the otaku must-see event of the year.
As for the audience, there were a few things to make note of:
1. The theater was packed by the time the trailers started to roll. I think there could've been over 100 people to see the movie.
2. Several people wore anime t-shirts and quite a few had on ninja headbands, mostly the Leaf Village, but there were three cosplayers with pretty good costumes - a blonde guy looked just like an older teen Naruto, a little boy was dressed just like Rock Lee, and a middle-aged woman cosplayed as the fugliest Sakura I've ever seen (though her costume was fairly accurate).
3. Even though it was clearly stated that behind-the-scenes footage would follow the movie, roughly a third of the audience left as soon as the credits started to roll.

There are two short Bleach OVAs, like Sealed Sword Frenzy. There is a movie for Bleach, called Memories of Nobody. I also saw on the latest manga "Bleach the movie: Part 2" coming out later this year. Don't know anything about Blackcat, but you could always Wiki it.

So do you want to join?

If you do, just answer these 3 questions:

1. Your five favorite animes and a sentence or two about each of them.

2. What got you into anime?

3. What kinds of anime do you dislike?

What's this about someone wanting to create a flash? For the club? Is that what it's for? Or what? Because I was reading the last page and it said something about a flash being made.
