Shut up newfag. Murk the fuck loar.

This club is not 4Chan. I swear to the Lord and Savior Satan that if my authority figures cannot lead by grammatical example, they will be fired.

And Wonko; I am of course referring to the god-obvious parts especially and particularly from shows from several decades or more back which I can safely presume the majority of the club has watched.

Majority is still not everyone.

Fine.

That would be said minority's personal problem. Not all spoilers can be marked and it becomes a nuisance when discussions become in-depth to the point it alienates the common visitor anyway.

Of course, I did state 'safely presume', therefore implying that it would be done by 'best judgement' and I do know well what kind of things need to be spoiler-marked as I do have a more specialised/specific taste in shows.

There should be more things like that, you know?

If it involves screaming kids next to a theatre showing a superior movie/animation, then no.

What kind of anime titles would you guys want to see in theatres besides for Naruto?!

Hong Kong actually showed FMA the Movie (In both Japanese and Cantonese dubbing), Z Gundam I (Japanese with Cantonese subtitles) and the less popular cinemas showed Keroro Gunso (Japanese and Cantonese dubbing).

But asides from that, I do prefer direct DVD releases for movie-length (averaging in between 1.5 to 2 hours of running time) shows.

And as for the one movie I enjoyed in cinemas, that would be Shinkyuuseishuu Densetsu Hokuto no Ken: Raoh Junai-hen (New Savior Legend Fist of the North Star) when it first premiered in Japan.

I would be a willing contributor, but I am already involved in a private animation project.

I will consider participating in the future collaborations nonetheless.

Agreed. On the condition that only quality animations are used. I don't want this club's name sullied with bad flash. Someone please provide him with the Anime Club pre-loader. I believe Starks here still has it. If no one does, it's the NG pre-loader with the picture replaced by our own Kagome on the Tank logo.

Definitely Paprika.

I've been wanting to see that for a while, and was a little disheartened at its absence from the international film festival (which I managed to catch Millennium Actress at last year (great film)), but the regular film festival is coming in July and they generally have a few anime on, so I may be able to see it then.

Here's hoping.

Paprika is already in theaters in New York City and Los Angeles, and it's getting mixed reviews online; people either love it or hate it.

It's short, and your perspective could use some work, but overall that was outstanding. You have the Anime Club's sponsoship.

88% on Rotten Tomatoes, 81 on Metacritic, 8/10 on IMDB...

Doesn't exactly sound like mixed reviews.

Either way, I still want to see it, I've watched and liked all of Kon's films thus far so why stop there?

Alright, someone else lives a life like mine. I usually get around thirteen hours each day, six and sometimes seven days a week. One hundred and three hours is the most I've ever done in one week, shit sucked pretty bad.

---

I've managed to catch up on the Bleach anime and I've came across a soundtrack collection that includes all of the OP and ED tracks along with mixed songs from the artists as well as instrumental versions of the songs. The Beat Collections that are out thus far, drama cd and of course both OSTs.

Things are starting to look on the up and up.

For more information, or to find a theater near you, click here. However, that site is a little slow, even with broadband, so I apologize if the lag pisses you off.

It's getting screened in Sydney on the 23rd, I'm goining with a few friends just for the Hell of it.

Excuse the absence, I was sick for a few days...didn't want to drag my ass down to the damp basement (renovators dropped by to mix some problems, so I had to clear out all my stuff) and risk having an allergy attack to go on the internet.

What's been up for me:
- Laptop is finally fixed, but the company sent it to the store (in Halifax) instead of my house, so I won't have it back until the middle of the week from the looks of it.

- Bought volume one of Saikano on DVD today ($10.49 for the two-disc Critic's Choice Editon), as well as more manga, volume 3 of Akira (for my money, the most epic volume of the series) and volume two of Maison Ikkoku (local shop has everything but the first book).

Here's hoping voodo hexes actually work...

The OVA isn't gonna keep you busy for long, (unless you plan on watching it so many times that you memorized every line and every bit of dialogue)

Well, what else would I do?

So heres hoping Kashimashi keeps you busy for a good while.

Chances are I'll just watch it again and again, and then watch it with friends.

I remember the days where Kashimashi wasn't your "cup of shit." That was a direct quote from Sir's thread. Only took you like 5 or 6 months to get an interest. I wish he would've finished the reviews. He skipped episode 3 even though it introduced the alien and the humanized (word?) computer.

Reading the manga was what got me into it, my shojo-ai obsession is a fairly new one.
