The only Ranma 1/2 games i know of are for the SNES.

Yup, ranma, hard battle, which I am lucky enough to own. There is also some on the PS1, but hard battle is the most well known in the western world, as it was one of the fighting games for the SNES/

Fuck no.

It's not "Pic Spamming" if each image differs from the previous one (i.e. not the same file, pixel properties, etc...)

If one must post one image per post, it better be worth looking at and follows above statement of mine.

GAR, /c/ or /e/ is fine too.

I approve.

Also, I'm convinced my Haruhi obsession is getting way over the top, I just learned Hirano Aya's "God Knows" on both bass and guitar. Now all I need is a witch hat, purple hair and a band of schoolgirls, then we can tour the world and makes millions.

The song is fucking fun to play, but you need fast fingers to catch all the spastic solos.

Speaking of Ranma 1/2, not sure if I said this, but while I was at lunch the other day, I was telling Jaymes that his friend still needed to give me back the series she borrowed from me. He said "Well, she shows up here sixth period, and you leave here fifth, so just wait for her." Which I was gonna do, except that at the end of lunch the chick walks in and hands me the set. So that won and hard.
And good news! My parents found a portable DVD player we bought a while back! So if I want to watch Ranma while, say, heading up to UC Davis medical center, I can just put it in the player and watch!
However, there is bad news. The guy who traded me the Ranma set moved to Georgia for good. He wasted all his social security or SSI money on getting new computers, playstations, etc., and when it came time to pay bills he had nothing, so they shut his power off. As the California summer approaches. This is not good. So he and his brother moved to live with their mom in Georgia, saying that she was sick to cover up that they fucked up. Oh fun.

Epic win.

I'd use my portable player more often, but it has some annoying issues. The later chapters on certain DVDs can't be viewed, and my House DVDs don't work on it.

I just finished watching all of Trigun a couple minutes ago. It was a good series. It had a crappy ending, though.

I would flame you for not putting a spoiler tag, but it is a show that everyone should have watched by now anyway thus making it moot.

Unless you're going Trigun Maximum spoilers, then that's an obscure title no Weeaboo has bothered to read to find the better of the two serialisations (And Mazinger Z, Getter Robot, Black Jack and even Kamen Rider references within the book covers).

I figured it was more along the lines of common knowledge than a spoiler. Some people might still consider that a spoiler though.

Thing is, I did consider it common knowledge and therefore 'moot point', since it would be a severe irritation to mark spoilers on shows which date up to or over a decade back (unless obscure such as a limited release OVA or movie-length show).

A bit broad, but I agree. Spoiler tags should still be used with major spoilers no matter how well-known the series is, but stuff like "character X dies" is just painfully obvious and can merely be stated.

Well, obv.

G4's airing the second season first 'round here for some reason, but I've got some first season stuff on DVD to tide me over for now.

Yes, I was being a bit general, but only because I took into consideration of the 'mainstream' and 'classic' orientation of this club.

I do respect that not everyone has watched obscure titles and/or know less common plots such as the Manga version of Outlaw Star, Tokita's version of Gundam W: G-Unit, Death Note and Naruto's pilot chapters and so on, but the point is that some blatantly obvious plot situations such as "Goku turns SSJ" or "Light is Kira" are pretty much moot points and therefore need no explanation or prior warning (instead, we simply laugh and mock the slowpokes for living under rocks for god-knows how long).

Besides, I think going by the rulebook word-by-word just gives the impression "Stuck-up" to the lesser viewers (As for Weeaboo and their ways of talking shit, I just don't give a damn either way and they are discriminated as I and anyone else sees fit).

I believe we agree on this, no?

Precisely.

I believe we agree on this, no?

Indeed we do.

Also, Hirano Kouta is a lazy fuck, need the ending to Hellsing...now.

Doesn't help that Dark Horse is slow to publish the finished stuff, DMP's translation is horrific (Anderson reads like a drunk Irishman, the Nazis all have obnoxious stereotypical accents, and all instances of "Sturmbahnfuhrer" have been replaced with "Major", not to mention other needless changes) and the third OVA is gonna take ages to get a Region One release.

Yeah, it's a lot different from the first two episode. Alucard is a lot more bloodthirsty and brutal, and Seras is...just weird.

I got Gunbuster and Diebuster, which hopefully will be a fun watch on the 5 hour trip to my grandparent. Too bad 12 episodes will only last maybe the going trip and not the return. I did get some science lessons and extras with it, so hopefully those will take up some time.

*** Big News ***

I found out on Memorial Day about a special one-night airing of Naruto: Ninja Clash in the Land of Snow in theaters June 6 at 7:00 PM. For more information, or to find a theater near you, click here. However, that site is a little slow, even with broadband, so I apologize if the lag pisses you off.

On another topic, I just added Hyper Police, Kage Tora, and Gunsmith Cats Burst to my manga collection and reserved volumes of Mahoromatic and One Pound Gospel for order at WaldenBooks. Pretty soon, I'm going to need a bigger bookcase or convince my parents to add on a study to the side of the house.
