That was the old method of qualification of entry, but we decided that it proved nothing and it led to some 'unwelcome' intrusions.

Instead, a brief logged interview was the more effective method when it came to screening newcomers so we know if they were trouble or not.

Of course, the better-planned individuals which want to enter with bad intent does not stop us from kicking them out even after they finish the initial screening. And that is a small portion of the 'real test' I am referring to.

Just as Planned, or even better than the results of your endeavours which has been predicted and analysed thoroughly beforehand and then ensured that it is executed in the order which would benefit all related stakeholders and all associated parties which are linked to the events which have previously unfolded?

Just as Planned, or blah blah blah...

Well with a new method of punishment, a new method for judging/evaluating "naughtiness" would have to be created. And with Santa's crazy gaze that only an insane god-man would have, the standards for getting presents/not dying are much stricter.

Maybe opting out of any religion/society that accepts Santa Claus would be best, since he doesn't mess with those he doesn't deliver to. Though this assumes that he just doesn't kill anyone who doesn't believe in his existence.

Lets just hope that since he will be able to know everyone's names and faces, he will completely fill up the Death Note and run out of room...or he will get arthritis from all the writing.

Though I wouldn't put it past him to figure out exactly how many people he will write and make their names as small as he needs to inorder to fit them all in. And he could probably write with his feet.

Kind of funny image...seeing him writing with both feet while looking under a magnifying glass to make the names really small.....with a Santa hat on!

Motherfuckers, stop discussing these things and posting picutres here. We have a hentai board on our forums. I don't even read what you post there. The Anti-Anti-Hentai club got locked for a reason, retards.

Oh come on, I wasn't posting hentai of any way, shape or form.

I'm pretty damn sure that you've allowed discussion of relative attractiveness of characters before in this bloody thread.

I don't give a flying fuck about your bloody hentai board on your forum's, why the hell would I want to post in it? You know I can't respond to that particular post in the hentai board on your forum, can I?

God, why the Hell do people assume I'm some sort of anime genius?

I only specialize in old stuff, shojou-ai and obscure series/OVAs. I know zilch about mainstream stuff, recent series and trendy crap like all the unlicensed stuff they talk about on 4chan.

Chalk it up to the fact I live in Canada and only watch legally purchased anime a good 99% of the time.

Yeah, first empressions are very important, treat joining here like a job interview...albeit mcuh less complex.

As strict as it sounds, I do not care what age the newcomer. I will judge them by the quality of their posts and I hope this is the standard for everyone else.

...

More importantly, onto the questions, "Fullmetal8".

The only connection is that they are done by the same studio and the first three episodes of Lucky*Star were done by the same director.

Kyoto Animations also referenced Haruhi in Lucky Star; namely the Taiko no Tatsujin game had Hare Hare Yukai playing as one of the songs.

Somewhat of an odd choice for a percussion-based rhythm game, but still lulzy.

Actually, that is more or less the nature of the songs in the actual Taiko no Tatsujin Series, they even had "Ai wo Torimodose", "Rewrite" and "Lum no Lovesong" in Taiko no Tatsujin Portable.

I'm only familiar with the songlist on the North American release, so I naturally assumed that a game using a drum peripheral would drift towards songs based a bit more on percussion.

Those three songsare much more fitting than "Hare Hare Yukai", though.

Utter brilliance. The editing in that was flawless.

Are there many other good parodies of anime out there like that? I've never really bothered to look, and would most likely find utter crap, but do you all know of any good ones? I could use a laugh like that once in a while.

It is just part of the interview process that me and the NG/A/ 'Mods' are planning to use in place of the old "Ten Anime Titles" entry requirement.

I believe that it would get to know the newcomers easier and therefore be a more effective initial screening process (to know who is fit to join and who is better off told to GTFO).

I don't claim to the know or even begin to fathom the full scale of these plans, but based on what you are saying, I agree.

I'm somewhat glad that "Top Ten Favorite Anime Titles" is being phased out in favor of a more n00b-proof system. In retrospect, while it satisfactorily met the standards of myself and other leaders at the time of its inception, it had little foresight in how it would be applied other than preserving an "even bakas can join" mentality. All it did was cleverly avoid a longstanding issue. I won't go as far to say that my original premise and reasoning for creating this club was flawed, but I will admit that change is good in small doses. As trends come and go, we shall adapt.

In my opinion, I don't think we should abandon the "Top Ten" in it's entirety. Club rules can and should be changed. But I don't traditions should be discarded so easily. These now-defunct requirements represent a part of our past are among the things that original made this club fun. I think that the original requirements should stay, not as the rule of law, but helpful and highly optional supplements to the new requirements. I believe, that a simple question like "If there is a character that you want to be or resembles you the closest, who would it be?" might not be sufficient enought on its own.

If you dissect it word by word, "If there is a character that you want to be or resembles you the closest, who would it be?" is not that much better than the current requirement of picking "a character to represent you and the anime (or manga) that character is from". Granted, it does deeply expand upon the current rule, but it doesn't really tell me that person's tastes right off the bat and this is why I kindly suggest that "Top Ten" is maintained if not as a rule, but by habit of tradition.

Whatever you, and the other mods decide to do in the end, I will endorse it.
