I'm not happy about a second season happening at all. I felt that the ending was good enough and that moar anime would be unnecessary. There are already nine-billion light novels, and there are (supposedly) still a few more to go.

I'm just worried that it will get Musashi'd or have a sub-standard story.

I started watching Haruhi Suzumiya this morning and the first episode left me saying "What the hell did I just miss." and the second episode made me glow inside a little when I figured out that it's fairly random and meant to be watched out of order. Again you've given me somthing excellent to watch.
