Is it just me, or is this the millionth time "Show > film" has come up in a discussion related to Escaflowne?

But it had a good soundtrack so i give it that credit.

Good score =/= quality film

As good as the movie was and as much as I appreciate great music, your "music is the mitigating factor" thing really boggles my mind, especially judging by some of the bands you listen to.

There is absolutely nothing "underground" about your taste in punk.

Nor is there anything "oldschool" or "punk rock" about Nirvana.

Akatsuki321, start researching words and phrases if you are not sure what they mean. You have a bad habit to use English in the wrong context, and you always have to agree with everybody about a certain thing even though you are not sure of what that thing is. If you disagree with someone, stand by your point, but be prepared to have facts to back it up. That's why everybody is "walking all over you." If these people continue putting you down via typing, ignore them or argue with them and piss them off even more. Personally, I wouldn't even bother quoting them. If I can't have a meaningful conversation, there's no point in even acknowledging them.

I will be watching Tetsuo: the Iron Man tonight. I see that it's only 67 minutes. eh, whatever.

Eh, I stopped following Tenchi after Tenchi in Tokyo. didn't like Tenchi in Tokyo. I liked Tenchi Muyo and Tenchi Universe as a kid, though. I used to watch it when I was about 9 or 10. I'd probably still like it if I saw it again due at least to nostalgia.

Yes, and I thought it was very good.

Has anybody here seen Baoh? I have it on my Netflix queue, but it's currently unavailable ("long wait"). Is it good? Is it at least crap, yet still fun to watch?

I read some of the manga a few summers ago, and I don't really know what I saw in the series.

It was decent, and a few volumes were just plain win, but overrall it was disappointing.

Heard of it long ago, but never saw it.

The title is fun to shout though...

If most of the movie is like the trailer I saw, it should be plenty of fun for me.

baohbaohbaohbaohbaohbaohbaoh

Yeah, I guess so.

I often shout "FAFNER!" for no reason because I'm wierd. Not only have I not seen Fafner, but I know nothing about it. When I was at the mall with my friends, I saw a DVD of Fafner and shouted "FAFNER!" at them. It's just fun to say.

I wonder if it has anything to do with Fafnir of Norse mythology.

Yes, in fact, a lot of references to Norse and Germanic mythology are made in the series.

I heard of parody restaurant chain stores like McDonald's being parodied as "WacDonald's" (Gundam) and "RikuDonald's" (Excel Saga), but a direct use with little to no alteration is a first for me (especially in big releases like Code Geass).

I know, I'm still partial to using "photoshock" for some reason.

I heard that the actual Pizza Hut in Japan had a near identical promotion, if I remember correctly anyway.

It will be mine.
