Exactly. Didn't it have a regular sized Gundam suit stickin' out of its head?

Oddly enough I think I might like the English dub better than the Japanese dub.

As do I.

BUT! With GaoGaiGar that is not the case. It's terrible with the English dub. I mean, Yugi Moto as the chief?

Say what now? You mean voice? Or actual character?

Ranma is roughly 8 seasons long, but it ended prematurly to the manga. It aired from 1988 in japan to 1994. There was an ova series released in 1996. And like Rumiko said, it will never die, it will stay in our hearts everytime we watched a badly dubbed Inu-Yasha and say, gee, look! Theres the guy who badly dubbed ranma in english! And then we will laugh and look up excel saga on youtube. And then we will make fanfics making new stories for ranma. And then we will clone Rumiko and force her to make more Ranma...more more more more more more more more more MORE!

On a second note, there was also a chrismas special released in 2000, And in germany the series is still at the begining. On a second note, do not be surprised if you see a Saiban-Ranma crossover in general forum!

Yep. Very cool looking but a bitch to fight in Gundam Battle Assualt 2.

The voice of the GGG cheif is the same as Yugi's English dub voice.

On a similar note, how long did it take you to figure out Scharz Bruder?

***SPOILER***

It was somewhat obvious he was Kyoji Kasshu.
How I got there:
1. Schwarz Bruder, the Gundam Fighter from Neo Germany, means "Black Brother" in German
2. Domon Kasshu is the main character of G Gundam, and his brother Kyoji is the black sheep of the family.
3. Black sheep x Hero's brother = Black Brother = Schwarz Bruder

***End Spoiler***

By the way, God Gundam pwns all others in the Gundam Fight, except maybe Nobel Gundam (hands down the hottest female Gundam in existance). It's a shame they had to call it "Burning Gundam" in the Cartoon Network dub.

I just thought of something else, and it reminds me of John Edwards' "Two Americas" speech. In the Future Century, there are two Neo Americas - One on the Earth's surface where the poor are left to fend for themselves, and the other in orbit where the rich live in the lap of luxury.
It's hard to believe there's actually a context in which Edwards' statements aren't all bullcrap.

I am in awe of that mind of yours Sir Trivia. I guess I should've read up on some German for something obvious such as that. I already put the black sheep part together. The episodes when Domon was training in the Guiana Highlands is when I made the connection that Schwarz was... yeah.

By the way, God Gundam pwns all others in the Gundam Fight, except maybe Nobel Gundam (hands down the hottest female Gundam in existance). It's a shame they had to call it "Burning Gundam" in the Cartoon Network dub.

Yeah that is true. Nobel Gundam has one of the hottest female mech design that I've probably ever seen. I'll agree with you on the Burning/God part, it's a shame really. Religion in shows that aren't aimed towards children but later become that in other regions in the world, then changed because it's a touchy issue because the country is mainly religious is pretty lame. I never heard about them having trouble with the mouth flaps[a main reason why things are called otherwise than the original in English dubs at times]but come on now.

But, hearing Domon screaming 'BURNING FINNNNNNNNNNNNNGER! HEAT END!' in Gundam Battle Assault 2 does get the blood heated. B)

If I do remember the colony's were called 'Neo' and the countries on Earth were just that. 'Representing Neo Japan...' as in Domon resided from the colony in space. Although I'm probably wrong on this.

I'm actually looking forward to the evolution of space technology and welcome the day we have our first space colony. That would be an awesome achievement. Country and race to me doesn't matter as long as I can live my days until I see one.

I meant to answer this question earlier but forgot about it and just remembered it.

The suits that the fighters wear are used with the mobile trace system. It's like a giant nerve suit that sends their bodies reactions to the M.T.S. and makes the Gundam move. Say you're wearing the M.T.S. suit inside of the Gundam after it's activated, you make a fist and punch with your right hand the Gundam will do the same. Basically the Gundam acts as a giant suit of armor in a sense or say battle suit. Very cool IMO.

But nothing for St.Patrick's Day on my end other than going to work and hanging out with my boss.

I doubt it would be uncomfortable overall but only the initial process of putting the suit on since it's basically a second skin when worn. The colors that each one of them wear is neat too since it's their representative country for the most part.

But yeah, I hang out with my boss but it's more than just a friendship. Note: She.

Ya. Like in One Piece. Apparently (according to my brother) MeHawke (spelling?) has a cross around his neck in the Japanese version or something. Then in the English version it is something else. Stupid sensitive assholes. Why can't you stick with the damn program!?

Richard Cox nearly killed Ranma for me, Sarah Strange was waaaaay more accurate to the character IMO.

On a somewhat relevant note, I just woke up about fifteen minutes ago. I was up all night because Shane decided to drop into town for the night and we kicked back with a case of Coke Blak and watched Mobile Suit Gundam (0079 of course), Samurai Champloo, Ranma 1/2 and R.O.D. I only read the first and second graphic novel after I heard It basicly turns into a Shaman king/dbz clone. Is that true?

Nope. Those are nothing alike. There are some similarities with it and DBZ, but not a lot.

The ones that were a lot alike at the beginning were Bleach and YYH, but those are completely different after a while also.

sure, i just listened to the yu yu hakusho theme song, i loved it, it immediently brought back memories of me watching that show when it was on adult swim.

I woke up in the middle of the night one year ago. The last episode of Yu Yu Hakusho was playing for the first time (about 4:30 in the morning). They've been playing new episodes on Cartoon Network while I was sleeping. I checked a TV episode site, and the site had the premiere date for the last episode on the day I woke up in the middle of the night. I was so pissed off.

I hated Kite, Mezzo Forte was infinitely superior, and Mezzo DSA trumped both.

Call me crazy, but lulz and gun-fu > rape

I remember back in days long gone how all the crappy anime mags would rave about Kite but Mezzo was far less praised, I remember a lot of reviewers complained about it being too over-the-top and too silly. The over-the-top silliness was why I loved it.

Plus, the rape (which adds nothing to the plot, so I do not consider it a spoiler to mention it) is only present in the director's cut of Kite, so if you seem to be sort of off-put by it, why not just watch the regular version?
