A while back. Sorry, I don't keep track of silly things like this really.

As for your question, no. Sports in general aside from football[called soccer in the states]is one of the few, if the only sport that I actually follow despite myself playing basketball for many years.

Yeah, SEED was a disgrace to the franchise.

Heck, even Turn-A is superior in terms of storyline.

Hahaha, so very true.

As long as we are talking about Gundam, how about Mobile Fighter Gundam? Or is it Mobile Fighter G Gundam? The title of the manga confuses me for some reason. I think it is G Gundam.

And also as long as we are talking about Gundam Seed, what about Gundam Seed: Astray? What is it about? I just saw it in my brother's pile of recently checked out mangas and I was just wondering if you guys knew how it was different than regular Gundam Seed.

I have no idea how different it is from SEED, I never bothered to read it.

It was great.

Well, sounded a bit rude to me nonetheless, I was merely stating I have no idea because I haven't read the series.

If you don't mind a few spoilers, here's a link to the Wikipedia article.

Oh, no need to apologize. Really and truly, I was contributing nothing by saying I hadn't read it, I should have just given you the Wiki link up front and then stated that I have never bothered with it.

Also, seven words per post, please. Just a warning.

Well, today I dropped into the import shop. They sold the Slayers DVDs (DRAT!) but they still have loads of Slayers manga at ten bucks a pop (WIN!). I left the store with a Walter C. Dornez !StoryImageActionFigure! and a Hannibal Lecter figurine. I should order the rest of the Hellsing !SIAF!s....the Seras one looks awesome, but the store only has Jan Valentine left.

Guys, how many official Yu Yu Hakusho movies are there?

I've always thought there were two, but recently, I saw (in a store) a third Yu Yu Hakusho movie that didn't look official.

Can you guys help?

Also, I'm on episode 3 of Ranma, and it's actually getting better.

The quality is crap (at the place I'm watching it), but if I rent a volume, it'll definitely be worth it.

Two.

Also, I'm on episode 3 of Ranma, and it's actually getting better.

And you've yet to get to the real good parts.

Anyway, it's not wise to make a judgement call on a series that lengthy after only watching one or two episodes....

I always check out my series on Wiki and other sites with tons of info on a given anime. Those usually help me figure out if it's worth watching, and honestly, when I'm obsessed with an anime, I'll go crazy thinking about it, and I get any information I can.

Funny, I recall answering that question months ago....

I always check out my series on Wiki and other sites with tons of info on a given anime.

I rarely do that, too many nasty spoilers and other people's opinions. I don't want to read either for fear of having too much of an influence on what I watch.

Those usually help me figure out if it's worth watching, and honestly, when I'm obsessed with an anime, I'll go crazy thinking about it, and I get any information I can.

Hahahaha, I do the same once I've started watching/finished watching a good series. For example, both my desktop and Winamp are customized to show off my Haruhi Suzumiya fandom and the most talked about anime-related topic amongst my friends is Hellsing.

We tend to obsess over current favorites.

What's up everyone? Been a long while since I stopped by. I finished watching all of Requiem From The Darkness (Seriously, check this out if you haven't already.) Pretty damn good except for the ending. Unless you want good closure, read the Novel it's based on. Also I just saw Legend Of Overfiend. Interesting, to say the least.

It really wasn't that much of a big deal that people were talking about. Next would be the OVA's Legend Of The Womb I think it was called that wasn't much of a big deal either. Other than that though, I got 430+ manga now. Stopped buying them after January for awhile.

Very true, it seems tame compared to some of the stuff around these days.

Dark Gundam? Isn't that the main "baddie"? It's a really big Gundam. I think he is the sweetest of all the antagonists.

Why are Bleach and Naruto alternating weeks?

Yes the Dark or say 'Devil' Gundam is one of the better in the series of Gundam. I mean, who wouldn't want a mobile suit or more like mobile armor/planet on their side. One that can regenerate and basically reproduce it's self.

At 3/16/07 11:48 AM, Fremen wrote: They haven't both come out on a Thursday since like, three weeks ago.

Well the reason being with Naruto is because next week is an hour long special. I'm gonna guess the same with Bleach as well.

---

But even with your actual translation Haro I still like the way it was dubbed/subbed with the

THE SCHOOL OF THE UNDEFEATED OF THE EAST!
THE WINDS OF THE KING!
ZENSHIN!
KEIRETSU!
TEMPA KYORAN!
LOOK THE EAST IS BURNING RED!

Oddly enough I think I might like the English dub better than the Japanese dub.

BUT! With GaoGaiGar that is not the case. It's terrible with the English dub. I mean, Yugi Moto as the chief? Mrs.Swan sounding all southern and redneck like? NOT to mention the announcer pronounces it 'GaoGaiGrr'.

ARGH! I EVEN HAD PEOPLE IN /m/ SAYING THAT THE DUB WASN'T BAD AND SOME EVEN LIKED IT!

Christ, I don't think a Japanese dub could ever be filled with more hot blooded courage and win that is GaoGaiGar. Especially GaoGaiGarFINAL.

Oh yeah, I did get to see the OP animation for GrandGloriousGathering but surprisingly I cannot find anything else at all which saddens me so.
