According to my friend, it sucks, so I'm not too keen on it.

Doubutsu no mori?

Wouldn't that be Animal Forest, not Animal Crossing?

Precisely. ;) That's also the name that they gave the Japanese games, lol. The English version renamed it a bit, as they did with a lot of the included items and characters, lol.

BTW sorry i proply spelled his name wrong.
Your lack of reasoning and lazy spelling makes me dislike you even more.

Aw... lol. We can't all be spelling/grammar whizzes and have magnetic personalities, Haro-san. :p But I can understand your sentiment. It makes me cringe every time I see him spell probably as "proply," lol.

To the one who was talking about Lum earlier, I wanted to say that I have all of the American released graphic novels, and the first American released DVD. I love the manga (even though it was horribly butchered, lol) and the anime is just as funny, even if it is rather old. Still, I think I like Ranma 1/2 better. :) In its own way at least, lol.

Have you ever read/watched some of her other stuff? Takahashi-sensei's done so much - One Pound Gospel, Rumic Theatre and Rumic Trilogy, Mermaid Forest, Inu Yasha, Maison Ikkoku, etc.

I am not a human being. I'm a creature spawned of rage and cynicism. Get used to the fact that I will never like you, nor anyone else that posts here. I've been the leader of this club for about two to two and a half years, and so far, I've disliked everyone who posts here. My only concern is that the club itself keeps going without attracting mod attention.

He's one of the club's authority figures, his (and my) word is law around here.

I'm leader, you are under me. My word is law, you enforce my word.

The only reason im level one is because i dont bother reviewing flashes.

You gain experience by voting on flashes, not my writing reviews for them.

Funny, I don't remember him mentioning shit all about your level...

I didn't. I called him newbie because there are mods that are newbies when compared to me, and he is new here. Also, I watch far too much Scrubs, and Dr. Cox has infected my persona.

Also, take your bickering with Tyrant12 to the PM system, it isn't contributing anything to our club.

Good boy. Thats right. Keep my club safe and you get a treat. Now Sit. Shake. Other paw. Okay, now eat it.

Finished Full Metal Alchemist, and briefly considered never ending any other anime. I should just watch them 3/4 of the way and then stop. Enough to know most of the story, but not enough to get sucked into watching the finale. Started watching Trigun again. Already up to episode nine "Murder Machine."

Read the main page, understand the rules, list your top 10 favourite anime (no specified order) and assume the identity of one anime character of the same gender as you are.

The chosen character cannot be one which has already been chosen by another user.

I now hate you, very much.

I love the manga (even though it was horribly butchered, lol)

Hardly, the reversed pages weren't that much of an issue and the grammar-hating translation is very faithful to Lum and Ataru's abuse of the Japanese language in the original version.

and the anime is just as funny, even if it is rather old.

Why does age matter so much these days? It has no bearing on quality.

Still, I think I like Ranma 1/2 better. :) In its own way at least, lol.

I actually agree with you.

I've read and watched a fair bit, and it's good stuff. Except InuYasha, after the first season, I couldn't stand it.
I did watch it to completion, but I was very disappointed.

In what way did this post have ANYTHING to do with anime? -_-

Seriously man, I've only been here a few days and already I'm getting tired of seeing you rant and rave at people. There's a reason why people keep pointing out your grammar flaws. Most of your posts are so riddled with oddities and mistakes that it's hard to read them. Slow down, proofread your posts before you submit them, and try not to post things that have already been said. ;) That's generally what I do all over the forums anyway, lol. You should too.

In other news, I'm getting frustrated with the toon I'm working on. I've never animated a decent anime flash before, and I'm not sure where to look for inspiration, lol. Does anyone else collect the "How to Draw Manga" series of books? I have a bunch of those, as well as the Anime and Video Game Characters drawing series, but neither of them are very helpful with animated movement. :p Anyone have a good place for me to go for references on movement?

Lol. So much has happened. :p Let's see here...

Gendo, good luck with your marathon. :) Keep the pizza and sodas plentiful, and make sure everyone has a clear path to the bathroom. :D

My favorite Miyazaki movie is Laputa. :) I just found the story so captivating and beautiful. I love his others too, but none have touched me as much as that one.

Personally, I didn't care for Porco Rosso too much. I found it too sad, lol. And although I liked Nausicaa of the Valley of the wind a lot, the Manga is about 1000 times better. :) You really should read it. It's the only manga Miyazaki ever did, and I still to this day consider it the best manga I have in my collection, even with hundreds of other series to contend with. ;)

I could stand some L.A. Blue Girl. :P I got to watch some with my friends at a con a couple years ago, and I never laughed so hard at an anime until then. xD It opened up the doors for me to watch other hentai, because to me, they're the epitome of cheesy humor. :P I'm a big fan of Words Worth, F3, and Bondage Faeries (the manga). =3 I wonder how many other girls can claim the same thing? Lol.

Fremen, I saw your animation. :P I left you a review. It was a cool stick flash, but I was referring to anime flash, lol. The stuff Haro makes is a great example; I don't know if you've seen his Mech flash, but I like it a lot. :)

Anyway, if you guys are interested in seeing what I've done so far on the bit I'm working, you can view it here, but it's still very short and unfinished. :p

I personally like nausicca because while the plot was good, the best part was the last song which is tori no hito best song on there very beutifull.

Ooh, I remember that. :P It was good, but I liked the opening even better. ;) *Sings* Kaze no tani no... NA-U-SHI-KA... la la la la la... forgot the words... la. Lol.

NOTE: There may be spoilers in the following post

Laputa is the only Miyazaki movie I've bought myself on DVD, but I wouldn't say it's his best. It's great film though. I just like more in his later films how there's no real *villain* character. Like, say in Princess Mononoke, you couldn't really say anybody is the real villain, even when there's two obvious sides. The woman (forgot her name) is like trying to destroy the forest and everything to get iron, but she's also providing homes for prostitutes and lepers. And of course the animals are trying to protect their home.

I also like how in My Neighbour Totoro and Kiki's Delivery Service how there's no villain whatsoever. They're some of the few good anime movies that get by without any.

Laputa's probably... My third favourite Miyazaki movie, with my first and second being Spirited Away and Princess Mononoke.

I liked Princess Mononoke because it was anime, but it had a very large American cast.
It featured Minnie Driver as Lady Eboshi, Jada Pinkett Smith as one of the inron worker women, Billy Bob Thorton as the monk guy, and Billy Crudup as Ashitaka.

The all star cast and the superb story made that movie an epic masterpiece.

As anime's tend to do when they're translated from Japanese for an American audience.

You do realise it was originally in Japanese, right?

I thought the translation of Spirited Away was better. Some of the voice actors in the American version of Princess Mononoke were kinda crap, like that guy with the red nose.
