Glad you got into the older Gundam Wing, and yeah it is really good.

I've always been a fan, it was one of the first long-running series to catch my attention.

Also, your new sig wins.

Oh man, nothing beats oldschool Gundam. I've got most of Wing (plus Endless Waltz) on VHS and a loose volume of 0079 on DVD, plus countless models, figures, videogames and a near-complete collection of the MS War trading card game.

Episode 23 was probably the best one so far, since it had all the girls thinking one of the guys liked Haruhi (right picture), and the leader of the club going into a spiral of despair/having a mental breakdown. The left picture was just funny.

Volume one of Read or Dream arrived today and it is bloody amazing. I laughed my ass off.

After reading, I decided to just skim over the book for the fun of it and I noticed it was stamped with a big ol' "16+" logo. I was surprised to see it, because the story was completely free of violence or nudity. Upon further skimming, I discovered the content descriptor box and the only explanation it offered for the rating was "sexual themes".

*SPOILERS!!!*

So it contains a two-chapter subplot about a blind lesbian falling for Maggie, big goddamned deal. There isn't even one of the typical gratuitous make-out scenes or any suggestive content beyond the fact it is made quite clear that the girl is very much in love with Maggie (a feeling that isn't really reciprocated until the end, and even then it goes nowhere taboo).

*END SPOILERS!!!*

Viz seem to be really trigger happy with the "16+" rating these days, as Death Note is also rated the same for "fantasy violence" (which seeing as very little violence is actually shown, is bloody ridiculous), I guess alluding to or inferring offensive content being present is the same as actually containing it....

So I started watching Fruits Basket, just finished ep7. It is...ok..or "passable"..it has some funny stuff, but kind of boring most of the time. It may take a turn eventually... I would say comparing to to Ouran High School Host club is like comparing Pani Poni Dash to Azumanga Diaoh...though you would have had to watch both of thows and thought about them the same way I do (with Azumanga being a lot more entertaining...though Dash wasn't bad).

Funny how Momiji and Hunny are almost exactly the same... so far. (He even turns into a rabbit, while Hunny always carries one around.)

Thank you for totally avoiding the point I was trying to make...and no, more violence doesn't make it better, if anything, I feel many animes use violence to overcompensate for lacking plot.

Precisely how I felt about it.

Apocalypse Zero is the glaring example here, all it did was assault the viewer with mindless graphic violence to gloss over it's unoriginal and dull story. I also feel the same goes for Basilisk, although is is slightly less graphic and a tad more interesting. In fact, I feel a lot of action anime (not the mainstream stuff you see on TV, mind you, but the crap you find in FYE bargain bins) use these same cheap tactics.

Bitching about mods is a bannable offense. If your sig was questionable, it's your own fault, and you're lucky you didn't get banned.

How's the weather down there? Sunny and sandy I hope, but sadly I got a friend who about to hit the sand over there as well as transport.

Anyway a VLC media player will do the trick.

Hopefully you guys can answer this question thats been bugging my mind:

Whats the deal with Animu?

Its made in Japan but all the characters have massive eyes, thats not right. Also when Animus get embarrased, theres this big sweat that drops on there face, and when animu girls get pissed off they start moving their arms wildly and screaming and they grow fangs, and the animus grow and shrink its really weird. And what's the deal with shitting Dick Nipples, and the artists tendencies towards pedophilia?

And whats the deal with Animu fags?

You know, the kind of fags that prefer anime over a real life, who would do that?
Anyway, if you could answer that would be great, thanks.

There's no real answers to your questions, because most of them were totally stupid, just because you've seen shitting dick-nipples and lolicon on 4chan doesn't mean things of that nature are prevalent in the medium. Do note that mosts of those memes are jokes....

The large eyes can be blamed on inspiration from early animators like Walt Disney, the sweat drop represents panic and the sometimes strange changes in body shape/movement are typically used in Japanese comics, and thusly it transfers over into animation.

As for "Animu fags", there are fanboys of that calibur for everything, and I'm no psychology expert, so I have no idea what their "deal" is.

Oh, you may want to remember to write your questions in a more civil and polite manner in the future. Because, truthfully, I thought you were being a real prick with how you worded some of your questions.

Not even MSN or anything, christ that woman.

Actually I was surprised your sig lasted as long as it did, showing Inoue's nipple and vagina that's pretty NSFW. Maus is doing a job and a fine one at that. She's very rational and level headed about everything so don't give her crap, thanks.

Story is good but if you have to have it balanced with something like violence or humor or it will just be dull and redundant.

As much of a gore fan I am, I think story is the most important. If all there is is violence, and no story what would be the point of watching. That is why YuYu Hakusho is my favorite. It combines good story with a bunch of violence, and humor!

So episode 110 of Bleach is out. It picks up right where the manga left off...though those Bounto sensor things are still around...I think the first wave of Arrancars (or whatever the anime will call them) should just fix that problem, but I guess that won't happen...

Now on episode 11 of Cromartie High School. 'THERE ARE FOOT PRINTS LIKE A HORSE'S BUT THEIR AS BIG AS AN ELEPHANT MAN!!!'

I was busy sewing up some of my old DBZ shirts, armpits and such and went to stick my needle into the pin cushion, missed and hit the desk. Rammed that fucking needle half an inch into my right index finger. God fuck does this thing hurt.

Since I woke up at 2:30pm and I go into work at 8am and get off at 3pm I'm just going to stay up all night sewing up shirts like the gay I am, watching the rest of Cromartie High School and maybe watch a few episodes of Rozen Maiden as well.
