You've never seen the movie that was made in America of it, part one, and two? I saw that when I was young, a live action version it, it was freaky as hell. Good show though.

Wait, there's more...

Girl's Bravo

Both versions of Fist Of The North Star
Basilisk

I've heard some good stuff, I'll look into it.

Basilisk

I couldn't get into it.

Requiem Of/From The Darkness (I forget, I would look for it, but I don't feel like cleaning my room to look for the case.)

Demon Lord Dante

I'll be moving out soon, which means I'll have to rearrange my manga bookshelves. I'll take another picture, for this whole club to see. It have so many, and have read them all, it's what happens when you don't have enough money for videogames. As for similar tastes, maybe. I would list all the mangas I have, but out of 430+, you kind've won't want to, not out of laziness, but the fact that you know how long it will take you to do so. But the pictures I'll take will be close enough for people to see the series I have. I'm buying a bookshelf when I move into my new apartment, I got my own library.

Thank poverty. Although being poor back then, I learned a valuable lesson, even though you may not have some of the finer things in life, other people do, find them and mooch off of them while you can. (Friends for life, ha ha ha!) Besides, other than that I found that the DS Lite has another use other than playing games. When it's night time and I don't feel like getting up to turn on the light, I use that DS Lite as a book light to read them. Works pretty damn good, and while I'm on the topic of games, I got FF3 for it, characters, the design of them are odd, but it's to be expected, and did anyone actually enjoy, let alone find Final Fantasy Unlimited (Anime) worth watching?

No, I saw it as a lame cashgrab. It was just a generic shojo "magic and adventure" series with the Final Fantasy brand name tacked on as the selling point.

I thought so, you know. I thought it would be at least interesting if they did make an anime out of FFX, it seems better suited for it, I would promote IX, but I did not like that game. But, it would be all too obvious how it would end and so on, so they try to come up with a storyline no one's heard of, and sell it off successfully. Oh well. In other news though, a very funny discovery as my little brother paid a visit, we were trying to clean out what used to be our closet from way back when we found an old school Digimon pocket monster game. Like a Tamagotchi, funny how that showed up first, then Pokemon showed up. Then it had the show that made it over here, then Digimon showed up as a show over here, notice that they kids are already hooked, Digimon still has that Tamagotchi thing working out for them, but kids don't really notice, then you have the GBC games, then it's all history.

You know, I'm actually starting to believe that video games and the shows really do have a difference of how successful a series is going to be, which makes me think, if my generation back then didn't buy the games, cards, or watched the shows or movies, would it still be around today? Think about it.

Not Sequel/Prequel, but rather a remake of the TV series into the form of OVAs or Movies.

Best thing so far is the Movie version of Ai wo Torimodose. Absolute Ownage.

I was hoping for Cromartie High School

I've yet to watch that series. Sometimes I shame myself. B(

I do have some reasonably good news

That's actually not all that bad. Better getting them than not. I pre-orderd Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin and didn't get my prize pre-order package because I pre-ordered it after the cut off date. The thing that pisses me off is that I've spoken with people across the country who pre-ordered it around the same date I did[November 22nd, supposed cut off date was the 10th of the same month]and even later than mine and STILL got the package. Reaching levels of crushed I have never experienced before.

Yeah, it does seem like when you look back on the past how great it was. *sigh* Too bad I was such a slacking dumbass when I was younger.

Finaly, after nine agonizing days I've finally obtained the Nightwalker OST. Two tracks break up but I'm not complaining since I can't find this thing anywhere I looked for months on end.

There was a manga club, but it died. Also, I hardly see how it doesn't fall under anime, seeing as we'd not have anime if we didn't have manga.

Plus, there's been little talk of manga asicde from Mast3rMind talking about his collection.

I have a comment and a question, just to make sure I don't forget to stay active here:
I may have to work a lot of overtime at my job over the next three weeks to save up enough money for Ohayocon. I know I'm going to spend at least $200 on all the vendors.
I was wondering if anyone would recommend a video game that came out a few weeks ago, Naruto: Uzumaki Chronicles for the PS2. It's an RPG that lets you follow the story of Uzumaki Naruto (quite far beyond what the US anime version has aired), but some online reviews state that features seemed to have been left out: You can play as Kakashi, Sasuke, and Negi, but only for a limited time. So should I get it now or see if there's an upgraded version next year?

Chances are slim that an upgraded version will see North American release, and there are serious chunks of gameplay missing from it (several boss battles are deleted). I say wait and pray for it's release

Also, I only managed to endure one episode of Gad Guard before giving up on it. Fuck you G4, you give us a great series like R.O.D. and then you expect us to watch a piece of crap? I swear to God if the next series you air sucks, I'll rip my brain out.

A couple of weeks ago, I was sitting in the chow hall eating dinner, and I glanced up at the TV. I then dropped my fork, stared and eventually said "Holy shit!" (which is not a good idea when you have a mouthful of chicken pot pie). So all the guys I ws sitting with looked up at the TV, and gave the same reaction. They were showing Pokemon on the AFN Kids channel (AFN is Armed Forces Network). In a chow hall full mostly of Marines, with some members of the other forces scattered around, all at least 19, and with older Halliburton civilians, they were still showing Pokemon. I couldn't believe it. I haven't seen that show since I was 14 and it's popularity had passed.

I THOUGHT YOU KNEW ME, MAN!!!

lol sorry. It's not that I'm so unfamiliar with you, it's just that I've been losing my memory kind of a lot lately.

But dude, everybody must see Sorcerous Stabber Orphen

It.....It's just so good.

All of the other anime I could think of was stuff you had most likely already seen...

FMA
Hellsing
Cowboy Bebop
Berserk (although the ending is fucking bad)
Slayers
Kenshin
Outlaw Star

Well, Crying Freeman is a series, but it's a series of movies, not episodes. I like the action in the movies. The nudity disturbs me, though.

There are some good anime feature length films out there

Blood Reign: Curse of the Yoma (one reason this appeals to me so much is that it was made in the 80's. I have kind of a soft spot for 70's and 80's movies)

Spriggan
Memories
Dead Leaves (barely feature length, though)

I would reccomend Suikoden: Demon Century, but there are a few reasons why I don't reccomend it (though I don't reccomend not to watch it either).
First of all, it's been years since I've seen it, so it might not be as enjoyable as I remember. Second, it had some pretty bad user reviews on Amzon. And finally, it's only available on VHS from third-party sellers, or whatever the hell they're called. I remember the action being pretty cool, though, and thinking the tranny was kind of funny, but I was 11 when I saw it...so, yeah...

I still really want to get it, at least for nostalgia.
