So I got caught up to Death Note again last night and found out that there's a live action movie for it nerdgasams ensued, I hop onto my trusty Ares and find 3 live action Death Notes that have been subbed I start downloading the first two and wait until I can get a preview of them, they were subbed but they were all hard core hentai featuring Ryuk fucking Light who was sucking L. Needless to say I deleted those and started the third download, when I can get the preview t that I saw it wasn't hentai (good sign) then I see the actors from the trailer (good sign 2) when they finally start talking I see subs.....in Japanese. By this point I'm swearing like a sailor with turrets that just cut his thumb off, I go and find most of the files that arn't labled as subbed and it's all fucking hentai. What does a guy have to go through to get his fix of Death Note.

eh, if you don't care about quality, just go to youtube. You get the gist of it, and most of the time, you can just find one good author/director/playlist and use that.

Ha, same here. I had no problem finding Ichi and the BR films, but Death Note has been a serioius pain in the ass to even find. I've found a few English versions, but the were all on MegaUpload and required a premium account to download.

I know one good place for Death Note. A place I trust. I got every episode of YYH in realplayer format almost TV quality on this place. And get this, every downlaod only took me 3-10 minutes. It was fuckin' awesome. I saw all 112 episodes of YYH three times over the sumer and most of them like five times in AS and CN.

Ugh, I hate my cursed luck. I finally thought Coles Bookstores wasn't gonna give me shit over an order like they usually do, but I was greatly mistaken.

On November 16th, I ordered the first season of Ranma 1/2 and the Mamoru Oshii Cinema Trilogy boxset, a near $300 order I had to pay up front for IN CASH, and I was told it would been in no later than December 7th.

It's the fucking 9th now, so I go to the store and inquire about my order, in a nonchalant, unconcerned tone, the clerk says "Oh, those discs haven't shipped yet, and the company hasn't posted a shipping date either." "Haven't shipped? I was supposed to have them on Thursday!" I say, and she gives the number of the shipping company and tells me to call them, no ETA is given, no real help or advice dispensed. I leave in huff and the manager stops me to ask "Has the clerk answered your question?" to which I obviously reply no, and then she asks "Did you even get given an ETA?" and I say "No, I wasn't given an ETA, and if my order isn't in soon, you've lost yourself a fucking customer, goodday!"

I pissed off majorly, I could be forced to wait until next year (when a value-priced reissue of the damn Ranma boxset is gonna be released) or worse still, have my order cancelled and go without apt apology. This is the second time Coles has jerked me around with hassles about the shipping and I swear to God if I do not receive my DVDs by the 18th that I will burn the store to the ground.

I blame the filler, it feels short because only a portion of the series is actually memorable.

It's amazing. It probably won't make any sense to you if you don't research it earlier though. The thing to remember is that Alter is the ability to alter the matter around you with will power. And that stuff about having to be born an alter is false too. You'll see what I mean. It's a fun series, I hope I didn't spoil anything :P

Just watched the final episode of Air-in-Summer.

First part was funny comic-routine in the forest at nite between Kanna and Ryuuya. She's doing some, uhmm, practicing. ;)

Second part was day in the forest with some somber moment regarding a tragic discovery on the fields by Kanna. Afterwards, Ryuuya told Kanna his history and why he's used to what Kanna had seen earlier.

Third part was the brief Kanna fanservice.

Fourth part was the resumption of the quest to find Kanna's mother.

That's about it. The comedy-routine had some funny almost-SD style animated art.
